I was quite surprised by the quality of this set given the price especially with the ton of extras. Perfect for travel. It would make a lovely gift for someone, and I plan to stock up on a few more kits when they come on sale for that very purpose. Can’t beat it. The paints are bright with good pigment—. This is my first watercolor set and I love it! It's worth every dollar.The tin is very sturdy and large enough to fit a mini palette, a couple of brushes, and napkin for blotting. It's perfect for traveling and painting on the go. I like the variety of colors, as it saves me time mixing my own from the primaries. The half pans sizes last and last. I have not run out of my most used color yet.The only downside is that some of the colors are not accurate. The burnt umber is way too yellow. So you'll have to trial and error a bit on your own to figure out the colors you need.

I think the paint is good but a few of the paints had cracks and one was broken in half. But i think the quality of the paint is good. There are a lot of colors too. I dont know if its just me but i have a feeling the paint is getting used up very fast. I only painted one painting and theres already a dent in the paints.

The ammount of paints as well as all the extras make this a wonderful value. The colours are vibrant and strong. Be sure to use the patch test paper that comes with it as bot all colours look the same once wet. As an artist that has exhibited watercolour art I am fully confident in using this professionally as well as with hobby painting. The fact it comes in a attractive tin and a protective bag is what really sold me. Fantastic product.
