Suptig Jaws Flex Clamp Mount Gooseneck for GoPro Hero & More

The clamp can expand to about a 2inch gap.I bought this for holding my gopro to random stuff while i was building a workshop. It worked great as it could just about grip around the shorter side of the 2x4 beams. Really sturdy too. After about 4 months of use (and going in the ocean multiple times) the screw at the bottom of the bendy pole is slightly lose but that doesn't matter because it can just be tightened.Would highly recommend.

Better value for your money.This is as good as GoPro's own.Great grip. Good and stable flex neck.

I bought 2 of these.. use them to hold each their own aputure ML09 lights, which they do pretty well using the gopro-like snap-mount and adatpter that came with the arm.. when I went to remove the snap-mount from the end of the arm, one of the little tips broke.. and upon trying to undo it completely, the other tip broke.. Fortunately I have a genuine gopro-adapter that fits instead, but now I don't dare remove the adapter from the other arm..

Quality

To begin with I was impressed as the item appeared quite sturdy and flexible to use, the claw is very strong; which is good. However on the second time of using it to mount my GoPro on to my motor bike, whilst riding along the road the top mount (clip) fell apart (see pictures) this resulted in my GoPro falling off, damaging my petrol tank and also the GoPro itself.If you buy this product you might want to change the top clip with an original GoPro one as they seem to be better made, either that or buy a more expensive mount altogether.It is true what they say, you get what you pay for!!!

I bought this to video my cycle ride from Deadhorse Alaska to Ushuaia Argentina, but it fell apart after 4 days on the road.The arm came away from the clip, and fell down a steep back. I couldn't retrieve it.Total waste of money

I’ve only used the gooseneck so far. I was surprised at how well this worked for my kayak trip. It is easy to adjust yet holds in place most of the time. If you bend it too far, the little balls can snap apart, but you just pop them back together like a kids toy. The limitation is weight: attaching a juice box (power pack) below my gopro was too much. It would start to bend to one side. It may do fine with a smaller power pack as the juice box is huge and heavy. I’m sorry I don’t have a photo of the kayak set up, but you can see it set up on a motor boat. The clamp is without a doubt super strong and reliably sturdy. It is best for attaching to something close to 3/4 of an inch in diameter or wider. I could only use the plastic buckle to one of the hatch straps to mount it to on my kayak. It was only a half inch thick. To keep the clamp from slipping around if I bumped the boat, I wrapped a bungy cord around the base above the clamp, which was perfect. I must have used this a dozen times in a week, attaching it and removing it, bending it every which way, and it never slipped. I only popped it apart once when I stretched it past its limits. It wasn’t a problem to pop it back in place without any degradation. I added a quick release mount for the camera attachment.
