Great stuff for model railroads or model scenery
I've been using this stuff for years for my model railroad scenery, although I've always referred to it as cell-u-clay. After applying a hard-shell base (brown paper towels dipped in hydrocal plaster), I then put plaster castings of rocks (created from my own latex rubber molds) installed either in place, or "glued" on with the Activa Papier Mache (i.e. clay). The version I had used in previous years was a light gray, and apparently it not available any more. So I was a little bum that it is bright white which requires a bit more work to blend in. However, I made up a batch in which I added some dry pigment to which works pretty well. By mixing various tints (sienna, yellow, umbers, etc.) you can come up with clay in earth tones. What I love about this clay is the working time, how it adheres to my scenery base and flexibility. You can smooth out (I like to use artist palette tools) to make it look like a highway road, or carve it to look like rocks. Applying to my scenery base and between the plaster rock castings, I can carve and smooth to blend it. After it dries, I then apply acrylic paint washes to stain, followed by diluted India black ink dribbled onto the rocks with an eye dropper.Clean up is easy, and this stuff is non-toxic.One hint I discovered years ago is to mix warm water into the dry paper mache to consistency needed. The warm water mixes into it easier than cold water.

Great product
If you've used this type of product before, then it's exactly what it's supposed to be for a reasonable price

Kind of Lumpy
I usually make my own paper Mache' clay, but I am working on a project that consists of 30 individual pieces. I wanted a shortcut and thought that the fast dry Activa would work for the base. I have to be honest and say that I am not experienced working with Activa insta paper mache', so I found it to mix up quite lumpy which made it hard to smooth. This could be my inexperience. It did dry overnight, and was lightweight. I just did not like the lumps that would not smooth out.

Paper mache dust— don’t breathe this!
This mix is very dusty, definitely wear a mask while mixing. Otherwise, super easy to work with and durable!

Nice but doesn't dry quick
I use paper mache to make forms to make patters from. This paper mache hold it's shape well but wasn't fast drying. It is easy to mix and I didn't have any problems with large clums. Drying was my biggest issue. It took several days for it to completely dry sometimes.
