This tent fit perfectly on my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. The tent is well made, easy to install, and packs away easily.

This tent is well made! It for perfect on my 2020 Jeep. The zipper was the same as I've used on most tents... because be careful with it, and it should last. The size was perfect, and I loved having the awning in the back - it function well to keep the Sun out of the back of the vehicle. I would recommend this product, I find it to be a great value for my money. I am an avid SUV camper, and this is a game changer!Set up is super fast and easy, so if you have to go somewhere it's no big deal - just stuff it in the back and go and set it up again when you return to your site.If it's going to be windy, I do recommend some sandbags for the bottom of the poles.

Overall good quality and relative ease of use. Not impressed by the extending awning with tie-downs. As you increase tension, it can pull the trunk down. This is especially inconvenient if you have an automatic tailgate still engaged. It also doesn’t provide much shade/room for adults.Worked well on the Outback, so it should work with most wagons/hatchbacks. Did not work on the Element, which has a fold down portion of the tailgate, as well as a lifting section. This causes too little tailgate to make a proper canopy/tent, the way it is designed.

This worked really well. If you have ever put up a tent, you can figure this out. Definitely have the instructions there. It can be slightly confusing at first. And then depending on the shape of the back end of your vehicle there might be a little bit of gapping on the elastic part, so I improvised and used the magnetic chip clips to close the gap. They also include 2 window screen pull overs so you can have your windows open without bugs getting in. I would take away a half a star for the poles. They are ok but they are not that sturdy. They do work and you can always replace them with others later but the fact that you would need to is a down side.

The media could not be loaded. I have been looking for a solution like this for many years. This thing is amazing so much thought went into the engineering of this product me being an aerospace engineer. I appreciate the thought and usability of this hatch cover. Nothing is perfect, but this thing can transfer from my Kia Nero to my Toyota Prius prime to my wife’s RAV4. So much visibility with all the Screen mash. The canopy is awesome to get the sun off of you and works very well. The reflective lines and the glow in the dark stakes tips are perfect . I have my Kia Nero set up for car camping. I’ve done modifications with some lightweight plywood. This is a perfect addition some people that complain that the screen is thin obviously do not know how to train and control their animals. Sorry just saying my dog would never tear off out of a vehicle. So that was kind of a silly review. In my opinion the zippers are good quality. The unit fits really well. I have done some modifications using high density foam to square off corners to make it fit better. Stay tuned for a video, but I would highly recommend this. I think it’s freaking awesome

Only giving 3 stars. Have used this product 3 times. Very limited use. First was a basic set up in my driveway to see if it would fit my SUV. It does (Kia telluride). Then this past weekend twice for camping. The second time I put the tailgate tent back on, the electric strap on the tent (sown in) to the tire strap completely broke (shredded). I was actually shocked since this is brand new. I made it work and luckily no bugs got in. Will have to use a magnet going forward to secure to my car. I tried to contact the seller but there is no option to. Maybe the seller can please reach out to me?

I am 5'3 and almost 70 years old.... This requires you to be tall enough to put it over a tailgate. The canopy part is very flimsy, the poles are thin and useless. I had a friend who is young and 6'2 help me and it was difficult and confusing for both of us working together. It's on it's way back!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I haven't used it yet, but when I took it out of its packaging I was completely amazed at how well built it is, with an aluminum facing on the interior to keep the heat out, really nice poles that actually have a spring on them to hold the pieces together, and really big screening. I can't wait to use this! I had another one that I bought a few years ago, that I have all intentions of selling because it's bigger, crinkly, doesn't have screens, back doesn't zip up, and this one is incredible.
