Good watch, not for collection.
solid, well crafted simple watch. Nice design.. However... This is not an item for watches collectors. Mineral is non-enforced, definitely will scratch easily. The base is metal and shining (difficult to appreciate the shining). Mechanism is simple and "noisy". THe band is probably, the strongest asset of this watch. Overall, I was disappointed. With all this said - still fairly good buy for a nice casual watch not for collection. Returned.

WONDERFUL WATCH. fits well. I have a big wrist and it swells alot. Finding a band, even after market ones, that fit well are very hard. I was pleasantly surprised that this one fits so well. Time keeps accurate as well as the date. Programming was not that bad too, I did not realize at first how much i had to turn the knob for the date to get it to change at first. But I did, and it works great! I have gotten this product at a discount for my honest review. If you feel this review is not honest look at my other reviews. I am not a kind reviewer ;-)

Cheap quality and useless Warranty
Watch back came off within 4 months. It is not reattaching.Checked the warranty terms to get a replacement and found that it is useless.Globenfeld website It says "All Warranties must have been registered within 28 days of purchase." I never recall any product that I purchase really require the registration for warranty to take effect. May be law at UK allows it. I missed this window. Hence they can deny my claim citing this.Even though I did the registration, a claim require me to do international bank transfer of $33 to cover administration, packaging and postage. Any international money transfer fees will be additional. Also I need to ship the watch overseas to UK. This will be more than the cost to buy another watch.I am forced to trash this watch unfortunately.
