Oh my god I LOVE these things. We bought them when we were having regular blackouts and barely had enough time to charge up our phones much less lights. Our candles were running out and we wanted something that wasn't going to set the cat's tail on fire. Enter- these things. They charge up great when left in the window during the day. They are SO BRIGHT if you put batteries in them. Like- I ended up having to half lower the lid on one of them because it was too bright for my small bedroom. They have this magnet at the bottom which meant we could attach one to our front door to make it easy to get in and out in the dark and I hung one from a hook on my wall in my bedroom. These things are a total life saver if you need light without having electricity.

I grabbed these lights before a storm because I needed some brighter lights. I liked the idea that these were bright lights, that are easily charged in the sun, and have an extra charger for my phone. They do in fact charge very easily and have held their charge for awhile. The light that they glow is very bright, and four of them is more than enough for a home. It slips back down into its holder to charge when it's not in use, or when I want to charge my phone. Little hooks are available if you need to hang them up as well. They are great! Highly recommended

Work well, but not built for longevity

I did my research and found that these camping lights are perfect for our van. The 3 styles of lighting are not found in other lights, so you will always have lighting. The light is bright and adjustable by the height of the opening. The magnets work great. These lights are light and durable. I really like the Solar charging feature. These lights will work in any situation. I highly, highly recommend these lights. Buy these great lights as the charging features are not available in other lights. I am so happy with this Amazon purchase.

These light are small lanterns. The light goes out in all directions. If I want it in a single direction I fold foil around one side of it to direct the light. On fairly warm days they last all night. But when it's cold out they don't last. But they charge by USB cable or solar, plus they can use batteries too. They have hooks to hang in either direction.
