I purchased this as my freezer is only small and I never have room for an ice cube tray,plus the ice always tastes dusty. My kitchen is small so no room for a large fridge freezer. I don't have a conventional cooker so I put a shelf up in the gap for the ice maker. After unpacking the ice maker I let it stand for 24 hours as recommended, and I gave it a wipe out. I filled it with water and turned it on. The ice maker soon started to churn out ice cubes( it doesn't make cubes but ice domes due to the way it works). The instructions say to store the ice made in a freezer as the ice maker will not keep them frozen, so after it had filled the ice basket twice and the ice was in the freezer, time to have a nice cold drink. It was nice to have ice that doesn't have a dusty taste and with the dome shaped ice having a hole in the middle it cools a drink down very well. The ice maker is very easy to use put water in it, plug it in and turn it on, you can select from 3 different size ice cubes and the loudest part is when it empties the ice into the basket. When you have all the ice you need, the machine is easy to clean, the water drains from the bottom at the front and the front legs are set behind the drain hole. Give it a wipe out to dry it so no mould grows and it's ready for next time.Learning from experience I don't leave water in it for the next day as it started to smell musty, after a cleaning cycle ( it recommends a solution of water and baking soda/bicarbonate of soda) it is back to normal.

This is the second of these we have owned. The last which was visually indistinguishable but had a different brand name became very noisy after about 3 years use. They both make decent ice cubes and can be programmed to turn on and off at set times. However the manufacturer has made some changes to the system sodtware of this model which are not ideal. Firstly the clock looses about 15mins a day which means one has to regularly correct it if using the programming feature. Secondly our old model, once prorammed, would go on and off each day without further interaction. On this new model one has to turn the programming feature on each day. If you can live with these or prefer to turn the device on and off as manually required then its an effective product.

Definitely better to leave it to do its thing and fill up the basket

Bought this December 2023. Out of the box the clock lost 20mins per day and the timer function did not work, saw this in other reviews so not too shocked and just switched it to produce ice when needed. Now it just produces one huge ice cube which it can’t eject. Followed cleaning instructions since we have had it so the machine is very clean and without scale. It’s destined for the skip!!!

Was really good stopped working after 6 months I have tried to get in touch with the seller through Amazon to send back for repair or replacement no joy all electric goods have a 12 month warranty very disappointing in Amazon and the seller

When new clean it before use! Or it will have an off taste with your ice and set up the size of ice blocks you would like, other than that it’s quick and easy to use

Machine quality is good but it was too loud. Kept me awake at night from one floor away. I’ve oriduction very slow
