Great router?
Works well! Has powerfulMotor. The base is a tad thin so you just need to be careful sliding it across. No big deal. Dits the makits batteries perfectly. The led light is a basic design, but actually very satisfying to use.The collar & nut on mine came a tad rusty.. not a big deal it was minimal. The motor seams to have some sort of fast stop feature.. very nice! This is a fantastic unit for the price! Would buy again!

really nice
Great little router, just wish it had a better base but all in all its a good tool and gets used daily. Same as Makita except for the base. And this one has a brake! something nice added

Great
Needed a router for one project and unknown how much I'll use it in the future, so couldn't justify Makita prices. This item works great, uses the same batteries, and overall feels nice in the hand. If I were going to use it daily I would've just gotten the Makita, but this thing is more than good enough for what I'm, and likely you, are going to do with it.

Great addition to my Makita system
I didn't want to pay $150 for a Makita because I would use it so seldom. I would use the Bosch corded instead. The machining felt rough on this but with a bit in there was no vibration or chatter and it cut strongly and was ery easy to handle. For the money it's definitely a 5.

New to routers but….
It works, pretty hard to remove and install the bits. Gotta get them TIGHT. Now I’m new to routing but I’m a very seasoned power tool user. On any given day I use a circ saw and drill and impact and angle grinder and sawzall etc. I own about 30 makita cordless tools and I’m an electrician with experience in furniture building, roofing, drywall finishing and framing. So I very clearly know my tools, I don’t think this would last too long if you used it often but for light use, I’d say it’s worth it. Don’t think I’d buy it again though

Just like my Makita!
Well worth the price. Nice little trim router. Hopefully I didn’t just jinx it by saying that. 5-star!

Great router. Crap Base. Read for solution
I love this knockoff Makita cordless router, but the acrylic base is incredibly brittle. It broke when tightened and even before breaking, it did a horrible job of securely maintaining the depth of cut. As such, I designed and 3D printed a replacement base which is so much better. Search "65mm Palm Router Base" on Printables or Makerworld to find the file and print your own.
