I personally don’t think you’ll be sorry with this purchase well worth the money
This has to by far be one of the best pressure cookers I’ve ever purchased and believe me I’ve had a number of them over the years. I got the 1.6 L because I live alone and I loved it so much that I just ordered the 2.6 so I could do a slightly larger meal. I will definitely be looking into an even larger one to make multiple meals in. What I love about it is it heats up quick on a very low heat and it cooks really quick as well. The cover is a little tricky, but once you get used to it, it’s not a problem.

The lid is a little tricky to learn how to operate.
A very good buy if you are cooking for two.

There may be a learning curve
Purchased a 2.5 ltr. 3 ply stainless steel. I have 2 additional pressure cookers; Fagor 6 qt and an All American pressure cooker canner. I wanted a small one for smaller quantities of beans, pulses and grains. It’s beautiful out of the box. The instructions are adequate. Once you go through a trial run with water and practice opening and closing the lid, it gets easier, but there is more time associated with getting the timing and heat right. While doing a small amount of millet, I learned how to change the safety valve. I was using too much heat. The safety valves are inexpensive; come in a pack of 3 for $4 +.In conclusion it’s a beautiful little pressure cooker far less expensive than some others, just not quite as user friendly as i’m accustomed to.
