Fun item, my grandson was happy with it for a Xmas present!

The NecoFu Metal Detector is not bad at all, especially good for beginners and children. My granddaughters and I have had some enjoyable afternoons with this metal detector on the beach, in the garden and when out for a walk.The adjustable high sensitivity feature allows you to customize the detection settings based on the terrain you are exploring. It is also waterproof, which is a huge plus for drizzly weather, which we are apt to get in Wales from time to time.The LCD and sound indication provide clear alerts when a metal object is detected, making it easy to locate treasures.One thing to note is that the NecoFu Metal Detector is more effective on the top couple of inches of substrate. While this may limit its depth range, it still proves to be effective in finding smaller metal objects closer to the surface.This makes it an ideal choice for beginners or those seeking smaller treasures.The lightweight design of this metal detector is another standout feature. Brought for my son to use on holiday at the beaches. Does work really well but not as sturdy as I had hoped. The metal bar on the device snapped after the 5th use. Does work well but pretty disappointed it's broken after such small usage

Nephew loved it job done

It was good to start with but it just stopped working the next day. Disappointment and now the hassle of having to send it back.

The media could not be loaded.  My husband does a lot of metal Detecting for over 45 years, and used hundreds in this time, goes on rallies and found in this time some really good treasure. I knew this metal detector wouldn’t really interest him, as it is for a child primarily. We have a Nephew who wants to join in.For the child’s first use, my husbands advice is to go to the coast where variably coins are misplaced on the sand and dunes. Kids get bored very easily and want to find something. When my Nephew came to the coast, my husband dropped a few coins in the dunes without him knowing. He was so excited on his ‘finds’.The metal detector was wrapped well, but even my husband who knows everything about them said for a first timer, it is a little tricky to put together. But he managed, and did a little video 👆to show the workings and sounds.Although this is primarily a child’s toy detector, for any adult, this isn’t a bad starter, it’s cheap in price, but ultimately gives the adult an idea whether they like detecting. Then if they do can buy an adult one. My husband found his treasure with a cheaper £60 metal detector, and found not so good stuff with a £1000 detector, so please do not think the dearest is best. This one is very good as a first one to be honest.Picks out very easily coins whether silver or gold, and my silver ring. It is understanding the different signals as to whether it is gold or silver, bronze, iron which is rubbish.This metal detector is adjustable with a LCD screen, and actually the sensitivity is really good. Tricky to use.

My son loved using it at the beach. I put some coins in the sand for him to find . it found the coins. So he was happy for a while. Never found any treasure lol . Came with a bag, rake and a small scoop . Good for getting the kids interested in metal detecting !
