I have been so pleased with the Solaray brand since I discovered they existed about 20 years ago. I have been a faithful customer and I constantly recommend their herbal formulas to my clients. Their herbal formulas are usually fresh and twice as effective as some of their long standing competitors. HOWEVER, their bottles on average are 2 to 3 times bigger than they need to be for the amount of capsules sold in them, compared to their new up and coming competitors like Double Wood and Nusa Pure, whose quality and freshness meet or exceed Solaray's. I wish that Solaray would STOP resorting to selling bottles ¼ to max ½ full like many other old name brands do too. I love their products, but I hate their environmental waste and dishonest marketing ploy to make you think you're buying more than you are actually getting. I just purchased this Quercetin Phytosome from Solaray and the bottle was ⅕ to maybe ¼ the way full, even though the advertised capsule count was correct. It's SUCH A WASTE, it's not only bad for the environment but bad for my kitchen cupboard storage space!Would you buy a brand that sold a 4 liter jug filled with 1 liter of cooking oil, and happily put it in your kitchen cupboard? I would not, I'd be looking for a brand that was more conscious of the environment and my kitchen cupboard space!So far the Double Wood and Nusa Pure products I have ordered have come at least twice as full as other leading brands. They use the proper size of container for the quantity amount inside. If they sold more types of combinations like Solaray, I'd buy more from them, and stop giving my business to these big companies who are not environmentally conscious, or practical, and using dishonest marketing tactics.

Solary has always been marketed as a trusted brand. I've never had any problems with this brand before. I've finished the bottle already and while I've not experience any changes or benefits from it, I have also not experienced any bad side effects.I do want to comment on some notations from another reviewer. First of all, when the company mentioned testing on the product, they meant that they do their own in-house testing on each raw ingredient before it's used to make the final product. This is ON TOP of a third party doing the same testing on their end. This is to ensure each ingredient meets the requirements for purity and efficacy and that the results of the testing are consistent. I work in pharma and this is how it works. Plus final testing is also done on the finished product as well, although not stated. As a general rule, supplements and vitamins are not regulated by the FDA so that is why FDA has no comment on this product.

Solaray is a brand I am familiar with from my local health food store. I have found their products to be superior quality in the past and was grateful to find they have a Quercetin available.I like to take quercetin when I take zinc. I find them to work well together. One a catalyst for the other.Side note: If I take zinc on an empty stomach I always get an upset stomach, (like morning sickness) so I eat, then take zinc about 30 minutes later and take quercetin then as well. (*Note: This does not have zinc in it- just a note because that is how I utilize this for benefits.)I also appreciate a reasonable dose. I don't want extreme or excessive doses of vitamins and supplements. Just a reasonable and appropriate dose that I take only when I need it.This is not the cheapest, but with vitamins and foods that I am using to feel well I want superior quality and I find that consistently from Solaray. I haven't seen this brand at big box cheap retailers because they don't carry items of this high quality. For my own genuine wellness, personally I don't want the cheapest that the big box generics have - I want the best.Solaray has earned my complete trust for my health with consistent high quality products like this one.

Solaray has developed a novel formula for their quercetin that makes it more potent by way of being more absorbable. I am happy to see this because I can take less pills for the same results. The Solaray Prosorb capsules are small and easy to swallow. I did not notice any bad taste and I did not notice any GI issues with these capsules. I did not notice any benefits right away although I did get some mild positive results within a week. I will continue to take them through the season for continued support. It does take a little time to saturate your body with the quercetin so if you know the season is coming start early. I can heartily recommend Solaray Quercetin. I thought this was a good price for a 30 day supply. The brand is very stable and trustworthy. It’s been around since 1973. They are environmentally conscious, very transparent and have all the certifications required that warrant your trust.
