I normally don’t write reviews, however this product differs from any other brands I’ve tried.I’ve tried many brands and they have not only upset my stomach, but they have made me vomit. I skipped a few days to see if maybe it was something else and I was fine. Started taking them again and I vomited a good 3-4 times.I was weary of purchasing berberine, as I got flashbacks from previous brands. After reading the reviews I pulled the trigger. I was nervous to take berberine again, but I haven’t had any issues with this brand. I am actually kind of impressed. Definitely recommend.

I have been taking berberine for several months now mainly because it claims to be very good for some of the ailments I suffer from. Initially I was unaware of how much it can upset your stomach if you are sensitive or the manufacturer doesn't take steps to make it more easily digestable. So the first bottle I purchased is still sitting on a shelf. But the second one was great and I had no problems with it, until I ran out and could not find the same brand again. So then I found Solaray. After reading that it is supposed to be easy to digest I decided to try it and I can honestly say that wether I take it on an empty stomach ora full one makes no difference, it has never upset my stomach. If I decide to continue ordering Berberine I will always order this brand and this specific formulation. I like knowing that my body is able to utilize all that is good from this berberine due to its absorption and standardization.

I dont feel like, for the price, this does anymore than the regular Berberine. The soloray products are decent generally, but I may not keep doing.this more expensive one because it isnt doing *more* or better

I've used Berberine from many other companies, but decided to try this because of the increased absorption/bio-availability. Upon opening the bottle, I could see yellow powder everywhere. Berberine is very bitter tasting, so this is one supplement that you want fully encased in the capsule. Additionally, it looks like multiple capsules must have leaked to leave that much powder everywhere, so there is no way to know how much of a dosage I will actually get with each pill. Solaray is a well-known supplement company, so it is surprising that there is such a huge issue with poor-quality capsules going unchecked and unresolved.

I’ve been taking this to help with my sugar cravings and keep my blood sugar levels steady. I take one in the morning and then another one in the late afternoon after lunch. I’ve had no problems with stomach issues at all. Works great at controlling blood sugar levels. No more highs and lows and sugar cravings are controlled.
