My wife absolutely loves these
When I plumb a house I always run a complete hot-water recirculation loop of PEX under each fixture to be used. I then install a recirculation pump near the water heater, and in the past have the outlet serving the pump be controlled by two, three, or even four switches. One major problem. No one ever flipped off the switch after using, and the gas bill actually went up over a non-tankless system.I even put in lighted switches so people would know when the pump was on. They still left them on - must have thought the switch was a cute nightlight. So I contacted the engineers at Leviton and described my needs and asked if they had a solution. They got back to me within two days, and even had a manager do a follow-up to be sure someone had contacted me, and this was their solution.Since my wiring was for using three-way switches I was concerned a timer like this would not work. Easy solution. You simply install two of these and both locations can independently turn on the pump. The time you push has a little green light by the selection, and that shows on the other switch as well. The directions are complete and make wiring easy.Just be aware you will have needed to run either a 12/3 with ground or a 14/3 with ground, or code also allows you two run two 12/2s or two 14/2s. You just have to be certain you have two hot leads (red or black), a neutral (white), and a ground. Don't fudge and potentially cause a bad situation. Now there is an alternative. You can use one of these and their remote switch, which pairs with this timer, It is less expensive, but the drawback is that it only will turn the pump on and off. The time set is determined by this timer, and if the last use was one hour then pushing the remote switch will turn on the pump for one hour, even if you only wanted 15 minutes. Or is you wanted an hour but the timer last was used for 15 minutes. So it has limitations. That is why I chose to install two of these. For larger projects you can install one of these and then multiple remote switches, serving the purpose of a standard four-way switch setup. But you will have the limitation of all remote switches using the last setting on the timer. I do not believe they make four-way timers, but it never hurts to ask. I sort of doubt it though.Anyway, my wife was the chief culprit of leaving on the pump and she had gotten to hate having instant hot water. After these were installed I got a big hug and was told these are the best thing I've done on the house. Strikes me as a bit of an overstatement. So for my farmhouse remodel I have two more of these to use for that recirculation pump. I get the two-hour version because that is about the length of the dishwasher cleaning cycle before it switches to drying mode.Great little devices, and mine have worked perfectly.

Gets the job done and easy to install
I bought this to replace a more expensive timer that had recently failed. That unit was programmable to 1 minute increments with LCD display. Really don't need that level of adjustment for just a bathroom heater fan. The presets on the Leviton are just fine for the application. This Leviton unit was about 1/3 the price of the old one. It is about 1/2 inch thinner than the old one because it doesn't need a backup battery to remember program settings. This made it easier to install. Looks great - simple and cheap like a mechanical timer, but more elegant. I've only used it for a few weeks so I cannot really comment on reliability yet, but seems robust thus far.

Perfect solution for bathroom exhaust fan.
Works perfect for bathroom exhaust fan. I installed 2, one in shower room and one in WC room (odor control). Range of time is perfect. For shower/bathtub you can set it at 30 minutes at the click of the 30 min button to take out humidity when bathing. At WC you can use the 5 min. setting, and all odors are gone when “2” 💩 is the reason for the visit.

Works fine
I just hooked it up per instructions. Only issue I had was when the ground came loose when I pushed it all back in the box. Symptom there is it will not have any LEDs showing and will turn on and stay on. Once I addressed that it turns on when first powered up and I turned it off and tested the 5 minute timer works and shuts off fine. Ill give it a week or so and then convert my other bathroom over. Definitely worth it to be able to pop the fan on during and after a shower and have it go off on its own. Shower, hop in bed, dont have to get up again.

Cheaper version of a timing is a little more loud clicky, but still works great.
I've installed a bunch of these digital timers on other fans on other homes. This one was cheaper, but still leviton, so thought I'd give it a try. Overall it works perfectly. The button controls "click" louder than the other kinds of leviton controls I've put on. and when it's done, the off state sounds an audible click as well. Not a big deal, but slightly clickier than the other version. Also, rated install a little down because I had to get the common wire pulled out of the back of the box for all of these I did. Not sure if you can do this kind of switch without the common, but it was a real pain - probably just the way my house is wired.

Looks and works great!
Arrived on time. Installed in about 15 min. I tested the 15 min timer and it was timed correctly. Looks great and fits with other Decora products.

The switch is also very easy to use
I recently installed this countdown timer switch in my bathroom, and I'm very impressed with it. It's so nice to be able to set a timer for the lights so that I don't have to worry about turning them off manually. The switch is also very easy to use - it has just three buttons for setting the timer

Works but plastic construction makes it cheaper
Works well and easy to install. It is a cheaper construction than the Leviton models that are metal.

Excellent countdown timer, no neutral required
Timer doesn't come in the same retail packaging as in stores but appears to be the same thing for $20 less. Using two to control bathroom exhaust fans and they are perfect so far. Each button has a green LED indicator which "counts down" as the timer runs. You can press and hold the 60 min button as a manual override to keep the fan on, or press the off button at anytime to well, turn the fan off. No neutral required, ground wire required. Only possible issue is that the green LED on the off button is always illuminate to locate the switch in the dark.
