These would be really good brackets: they are sturdy, easy to install and would be a really good value - IF ONLY THEY HAD A RIGHT ANGLE. Amazing, that this manufacturer hasn't got the manufacturing process under control after all these comments about these brackets not having a ninety degree angle. They still don't! But they seem to have gotten the consistency down well: both brackets had exactly the same angle.Can it really be that hard to get this angle to 90 degrees?

These aren’t heavy duty by any means. I was only putting up a small piece of wood, so I was a little uncertain of the stability once I saw how light these are. If you can drill at least one side into a stud, though, you’ll be fine. My only negative was that I needed a longer screw to get into the stud. Thankfully I save a ton of hardware so I had long, black screws… but may be something you’d need to buy if you don’t have any.

Decent quality and low price

This shelf support was used for a quite different purpose. I used them to support my gas grill so I could pick up the end of the grill to move it from place to place. It worked great!
