Works super well
I read in comments about blowing fuses and other things going wrong with this product. Well I use my for work and it has since received been working very hard and absolutely not a single problem with it. Not sure why they are having issues with it. I use mine for long periods of time and it handles great. Of course I don't over use it I do about 30 minutes of cleaning and let it take a break while I do something else come back in 30 and go at it again.

Works well, just takes some getting used to
This is an interesting steam cleaner. It's super easy to use and doesn't take much to set up at all even though it may look like there's a lot of components. You do have to make sure that you have the head attachments screwed on super tight or they become loose very quickly and you'll get water drips (pictured). I didn't have a bucket so I used my watering can and that worked just fine. I can't stand chemical smells, so I try to clean all natural as much as possible (vinegar, lemon, baking soda). I chose to try this with no cleaner and it worked out great for cleaning the grout between tiles. When I first tested it out, I used the wire bristle attachment and just ran it against the grout as it was steaming and I could see the dirt coming out right away. When you first turn this contraption on, definitely make sure the tube is in water first. It will make a very loud sound as it starts to pull the water in, but once the water is moving through the tube, that loudness subsides. The metal parts will get very, very hot, so careful there. The handle is comfortable to maneuver, but because the tip gets so hot from the steam, you have to let it cool to change heads out. The box is super light, but trying to put the tubes and the outlet chord back in can be a bit of a pain. I also am not fond of the fact that there's no storage in the box or at least a bag or container for the attachments. I feel it would make more sense to be able to store it all together, so a little bigger box could help with that. Otherwise, I'm impressed with how well this worked to clean the grout without chemicals. I tried to use it on some oil spots and paint in my garage, but without chemicals, so it did not work well. It did lighten the oil up a bit, but not enough to make a difference, so I'm sure with some chemical cleaners, oil stains and paint might come up. You'll also want to keep a towl or mop close by when using this because the water will start to pool up with any dirt and grime. I used a gallon of water and it went a very long way and I was impressed by that. Since you're limited to the distance of the tubes, which isn't very far (maybe a couple feet at most, you have to move the box around with the water bucket if you're cleaning a large area. All in all, it's an easy thing to use and small enough to store on a shelf in a closet or cabinet or even under the kitchen sink.

Extremely effective tool, not so great case
This tool comes with a variety of brushes, but the pressure of the steam alone is sufficient to do a great cleaning job. It is tankless so you do need to provide it with a water source, meaning it is not really portable, and have to move it periodically for larger jobs, but this is not really a big problem. It starts producing steam quickly and is fairly quiet. The stream it produces is strong and.... hot, so it does a great job of blasting and sanitizing, perfect for bathroom use. This product would be perfect, but for the case. It gives the appearance that it is all compact and self contained for storage, but the reality of winding wet, loose components into the box is too overwhelming for my small brain, so I just hide it out of the way in the corner of my basement in a ready to use state. If storage is important, then you need to prepare for a fairly intricate disassembly, drying, packing process with each use.

You can’t turn a sows ear into a silk purse.
I had a high anticipation for using this steam cleaner to finally get the grout in my shower to get clean. Does it help with cleaning? Yes. Is it the miracle cure? No. I didn’t have any experience with this kit, but I thought I would dive right in. Dip the water inlet rube into a bucket of water, plug it in, turn it on, and wait thirty seconds, and it starts to blow steam. Then you dial up the water inlet control valve up to a setting of 5 or anywhere in between. At five it makes a lot of steam. In the listing photo from the mfr., it has the grout cleaning brush listed as the “metal round brush”. Even though the photo has the black plastic one pictured. With my so, so results with the black plastic one, I tried the metal one. Don’t do it. It left blacks stains everywhere it swiped, and I had to use a lot of elbow grease, and the pink stuff (name of super cleaner) in order to get them back out.Okay, so then I went back to the black plastic one, and this time instead of using the extender wand, I took that off, and put in the small pointy nozzle, and added the black plastic brush onto it. That worked a lot better. Is this something of a miracle cure? I have to be honest. I live in a home that was built in 1955 and the old white grout isn’t that white anymore. However, with some bleach, and a scrubby brush I can get some very similar results.I have roommates, and they like to cook fatty meats, so there is a decent sized amount of fat/grease on everything around the range. I know this steamer will come in handy when I tackle that job. Am I glad I, have it? Absolutely. It is one more trick in the arsenal bag for trying to achieve the ultimate clean. Just don’t expect to go drink a cup of coffee while this thing cleans your shower. Scrubbing is not excluded.
