The weight of this is what drew me to it. I am trying to keep the weight down on my tripod so i more inclined to take it hiking. As such, this is a very featherweight item. I have paired it with a light weight levelling head and together they provide a good solution to landscape photography.I have deducted a point simply because the "anodised" finish is scratching off where the mounting plate slides in. And really haven't used it much, so i dont know how long this will last. Lets hope the mechanism is longer lasting than the finish.

Habe mir den 360 Grad Panorama Kopf für mein Fotostativ gekauft. Dadurch ist es für mich einfacher Panoramen abzulichten.Weil wenn das Stativ schräg auf dem Boden steht, bringt mir der Kugelkopf nicht viel, da das 360 Grad Panorama auf meinem Stativ unter der Kugel ist. Was dann bewirkt, daß die Panoramen schief aufgenommen werden. Ich Persönlich finde die Verarbeitung für den Preis wirklich gut. Bei mir passt es oben auf das Stativ mit Arca Swiss Anschluß. Da oben drauf kommt die Kamera. Es ist schnell montiert oder demontiert. Das Gewicht fällt bei mir nicht in die Waage. Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden. Der Versand war schnell und zuverlässig. Ich kann dieses Produkt wärmstens weiterempfehlen, wer mehr aus der Landschaftsfotografie rausholen will. Ich habe lange überlegt, hätte es schon viel früher kaufen sollen.

This is a smaller version (47mm diameter) of the standard (70 to 80mm Dia.) Arca-Swiss compatible panoramic rotating clamp. It appears to be intended to be used with the miniature (pocket sized/table-top) tripods that are currently very popular.Note that this is not a ball-head, as one of the reviews suggests. This is intended to fit into an existing Arca-style clamp that is already mounted on top of a small ball-head. This is achieved by mounting the supplied Arca plate to the bottom of the mini-rotating clamp and then clamping this assembly into the Arca-style clamp that came with the ball-head.So why would you need to do this when most ball-heads come with a rotating facility? To use the ball-head's rotation to shoot a panorama you first have to level the tripod. This is done by adjusting the legs... but some miniature tripods do not have adjustable legs and even if they do it can still be rather tricky to level it.With this mini rotator clamped into your ball-head's Arca-style clamp you can use the ball-head just to level things and then use this mini-rotator to shoot the panorama...it is a lot faster this way.If you shoot panoramas a lot you can also permanently replace the clamp on your ball-head with this mini-rotator. The unit is very well made and finished and rotates smoothly.

Questa marca di attrezzatura fotografica mi era completamente sconosciuta.Ho comprato per prima la mini testa a sfera e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto, quindi questa mini testa panoramica. Il diametro è appena 3,8 cm, la uso con mirrorless Sony ed è perfetta perfetta per poco ingombo specie se da portare nello zaino.Gli ingraggi sono fluidi e nonostante le ridotte dimensioni e peso (appena irca 170g) nell'uso risulta robusta e solida
