Awesome !! Quality system and picture
Absolutely brilliant ! Don't be fooled by the price this is a quality bit of kit and works flawlessly. My other Annke CCTV system monitoring other parts has been continually working for almost 3 years now without a glitch or drop in quality, hence my second purchase of Annke ~ no I'm not sponsored or paid by them. This systems picture day and night is excellent and the operating system has so many easy options to adjust.Few things to note on this system ~ 1) when installing, running camera leads make sure they are ended the right way, one end is correct for camera and one for DVR end . I found out the hard way and run all cables only to find out one lead was wrong way round and had to re do it. 2) The power leads / UK plugs are supplied in this kit one for the DVR unit and one for 2 cameras, if you want to add more cameras you will need to buy another power supply for them ~ cheap enough. 3) There is no wifi built into this, to watch remotely ~ to connect you will either need an earthernet cable or as I did a "wifi bridger" i used a vosnet vap11g-300 and ignored the scarey reviews watched a couple of youtube vids and had it running in less than 10 mins and im useless on a pc ! 3) You must install a HDD to record, no external HDD will work ~ again dead easy to do but remember must be a 3.5 sata for surveillance and not for PC's. The run differently...don't ask me the ins and outs of that i just know that's how it is....So if you want a tidy cctv system that is easy to install and works really well then this is it ! Oh and a great price too !!

Better than expected
A good, simple to set up system for basic security. Cameras need a power supply feed which might not be for everyone but the video is good quality, night vision is good and having a screen is a bonus. As a camera is triggered the screen shows the feed from that camera which is a bonus. Needs a reasonable wifi signal. The App is a bit basic and it would be good to be able to turn the PTZ function off as it appears on the screen but overall for this price you cant complain.

A little DIY and tech knowledge needed but fantastic setup
I'm new to cctv so firstly looked on Amazon at some systems to guage what was good from user reviews. So if you type cctv in all these ANNKE systems come up. And it seems folk are pretty chuffed with what they are getting for the money. I was expecting the systems to cost alot more than what I was looking at but as with technology I guess this kind of thing is quite old-school now and prices have come down. Not to say there's anything wrong with old school. And you really won't find better for the money. Install wise you need to have a good idea of where you will run your cables before you begin. I'm my case I had to drill out a 20mm hole in the gable to feed the cables into the loft and then run them through the floor of the loft into a bedroom. The connectors on the wires are quite chunky so if you are going through brick or stone work then a 20mm bit on a sds drill is advisable. The receiver and cameras have their own separate power supplies so you will need 2 sockets free. A terminal from a camera slots into the box and the other connects to a splitter cable which is fed by the power supply.Hard drive wise I would recommend buying and internal 3.5" standard type with at least 1tb of space. Prob 2tb if you go for 4 cameras. You open the box up with 4 little black screws and attach the drive with the cables and screws provided. Then close it all up and place it next to your TV or monitor. I hooked it up to a tv with a 5 quid HDMI cable from Asda. The hard drive will need initializing/formatting before use and there is an option in the initial setup of the system to do this.I havnt figured all the settings out yet. And there are a ton to go through ! But basic opertion and playback is easy enough.Quality is ok. But don't expect to be zooming in on long distances thinking you can see the colour of people's eyes. it's fantastic for the money but just bear in mind it's not a professional system. The closer you can get the cameras to what your trying to cover the better. But obviously you don't want them within tamper reach. As far as I am aware you are able to connect a max of 4 wired cameras to this. And if you know what your doing with networks you can add a 5th wireless camera and hook it up so you can view on your phone or devices. Something I have not got round to but will prob add more cameras and have a go.The actual kit is decent for the money. The receiver is a bit naff looking but the cameras are nice, small and discrete. The little screws they have to adjust the angles with are soft so be careful not to round them off.Overall I am impressed and I would recommend it to anyone who fancies a go. Not hard to set up but plan first before you buy where the cameras will go, what you want to cover, where you will run the cables and you could do with someone who is a little technically minded. Especially if you plan to network.Have fun !

Great product. Very good price. Easy to install and setup.
The media could not be loaded. Bought this after my car's catalytic converter was stolen. My car was parked outside my house on a busy road.Great product at a great price. Very easy to install. Comes with main unit to connect up to four cameras, two cameras supplied, mouse for unit. Need to add your own SATA hard drive, HDMI or PC connector to view on TV/monitor and network cable to connect to internet (though this is only required if you want to view the camera feed remotely using the Annke Vision app).I mounted the cameras, ran the cables through the loft down to the unit. (Ensure when you run the cables they are the right way round as three ends are different on each end).Plugged in and ran the Wizard. It detected my hard drive and formatted it ready for use. Left all other settings as they were. Did not initiately connect a network cable for remote connection. All worked fine and was able to see both camera feeds. Set to continuous recording.Later went back after running a network cable from my router. Plugged in and connected immediately without doing anything. Downloaded the app, created an account and then scanned the QR code when adding device. The QR code can be found in the network settings in the menu of camera feed. QR code scanned it detected my device straight away and I was then able to view the cameras feed remotely with the app. What more could I want.
