This string is the real stuff for tying up meat joints. Also great for steaming Christmas and sponge puddings. Large amount so will last. No blue soup!Top austerity tip for Omnivores:It is cheaper to buy good quality meat in bulk on offer or reduced. Cutting up Lamb Leg or larger joint, we like to tie it into a smaller sized joints. Just purchased 2.3kg Gammon joint (too much to cook at once) on offer and we like to cut them in half and use Butcher's string to tie it up before freezing. Ready for cooking once defrosted and already prepped with string and meat holds together.Other uses:Great for macrame jewellery or tying up tomato plants (because Hubby has used my Macrame jute!). Could use it for making gift tags out of upcycled cards, or adding a rustic touch to home made jams.

The item came quickly (always what we want) and is exactly what I wanted - in my case, it was to string up herbs although there are lots of other appropriate uses for this item :) - Rachel

It was a bit thinner than I expected but it worked as I wanted nevertheless. I used it to wrap zong/rice dumplings/parcels. I had to wrap it a few more times than I would normally just to be sure, but it worked fine and nothing burst out. I would buy it again to make the same thing.

The string bis not strong enough, every time I pulled the string over the leg of lamb it snaps, I managed to tie the joints, but I had to faff about. On a good point price was good. Next time I will go for thicker string

Ich vergebe volle fünf Sterne für die Vivifying 200m Bäcker Bindfäden, denn dieses Produkt hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen und ist einfach unschlagbar.Zunächst einmal bin ich begeistert davon, dass es sich um ein 3-lagiges Baumwollgarn handelt, das lebensmittelunbedenklich ist. Diese Eigenschaft war für mich besonders wichtig, da ich es hauptsächlich in der Küche verwende. Ich habe keinerlei Bedenken, es zum Binden von Lebensmitteln zu verwenden, da es absolut sicher ist.Die Robustheit dieses Bindfadens hat mich wirklich beeindruckt. Ich habe damit Kohlrouladen gewickelt und war erstaunt, wie stabil und zuverlässig er ist. Selbst bei anspruchsvollen Aufgaben bewahrte er seine Form und hielt alles sicher zusammen.Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die großzügige Länge von 200 Metern. Das bedeutet, dass ich eine lange Zeit mit diesem Produkt auskomme, bevor ich nachkaufen muss. Das ist besonders praktisch, da ich solch ein hochwertiges Produkt nicht im Einzelhandel finden konnte.Alles in allem kann ich die Vivifying 200m Bäcker Bindfäden wärmstens empfehlen. Für alle, die Wert auf Qualität, Sicherheit und Zuverlässigkeit in der Küche legen, ist dies definitiv die richtige Wahl.

Weiche dünne Schnur genau das was ich gesucht habe und sehr stabil ohne dass diese zusätzlich mir wachs oder ähnlichem verarbeitet wurde.

Ein relativ dünner Faden im gegensatz zu denen die ich sonst gekauft habe. Erstaunlich stark und reißfest.... ich finde ihn wirklich klasse
