Cardone 5C-473163 New Vacuum Power Brake Booster without Master Cylinder

Product bolts right up in my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee I-6, problem is that piece attaching to the brake pedal is slightly shorter than factory so it has a small pull on the pedal. This pull makes it so the brake switch at the pedal is not contacted, so your brake lights stay on.My fix for this was going to the brake pedal and bending the small metal bracket holding the sensor forward so the pedal would make contact at rest. It is and easy fix and the product works well but this seems to be a running trend of a factory flawed design.Overall it’s cheap and works well.

Brake pedal low and brake lights hang on at times.

good but shaft is slightly shorter than original, I used an adjustable wrench to slightly bend the bracket that the brake pedal switch is attached to because brake lights would not turn off with the new shaft being slightly shorter. easy fix and saves me a lot of money from having to get one from dealer, I only had to bend it about 1/4 inch to get brake lights to turn on when pedal is slightly pushed

This is a quality replacement and came with all the required gaskets and hardware for a smooth install. My brake pedal has never felt so responsive. Maybe the old one was just that worn but im more than thrilled with this part.
