Buy this bell if you want something that mounts below the bar on a flat bar. On a 1X system with no front derailer and no left side shifters, this performs fabulously. It mounts right where your shifters would be and the hammer is easliy struck with your thumb. The bell tone is decent, it's reasonably loud, and the build quality is acceptable. It is plastic and manufactured in china so there is a lot to be desired in the quality front. But its the only option i know of that mounts in this location, and for that, I'm satisfied.

After trying and hating this bell from Rock Bros: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BVB7L423?th=1 I gave this one a try and I'm really pleased with this bell. It has a nice strong/sharp "clang" and seems pretty loud. I would say it meets/exceeds the 100 decibels promised. It seems to grab attention when I'm on the bike trail. I love that it mounts below my bar and you can choose which side the lever is on. I chose the right side version. It's relatively easy to hit the bell while keeping my hands in the down position on my grips. My one issue.........they should have made the opening much larger so you can actually mount this on your grip tape. This would have allowed me to place the bell closer to my shifter and it would have been effortless to ring the bell in the down position. The size of the opening currently will only mount on bare tubing. I'd love to see a version where they fix this and also include spacers for those that want to mount to bare tubing.

I lke the sound of the bell. Plus it doesen't take a lot of space on the handle bar and they have a left and right one. Would recommend.

Sounds great I love the underslung design that helps a ton of your handlebar is already a bit cluttered or to just keep things looking clean. Plastic mount, though I do wish it were aluminum to make it more rigid, but other than that detail is a very solid, well designed, & effective bike bell.

Install is simple, thumb lever is out of the way enough you don't bump it while riding. Lets you warn trail hogs without having a little kid's bike bell. Averages around 100 db.
