Great keyboard for everyday use, including non-gaming uses
I got this because there seemed to be a dearth of decent non-gaming wired keyboards. I don't really care for the gaming aesthetic, but most of the non-gaming keyboards were either wireless, which I didn't want, or cheap and nasty budget options. I wanted something wired and with decent build quality, but that doesn't break the bank. The build quality seems good. It feels very solid and the buttons have good haptic feedback, but are quiet with it.It's comfortable to use. I do a lot of typing and some light gaming. I can use it for several hours with no issues. The layout is just a standard UK keyboard layout with no silly gimmicks. The integrated wrist rest is completely pointless. Fortunately, it doesn't get in the way and I'm able to use my memory foam wrist rest without any problems.I don't bother using the backlight. It automatically switches on when my computer turns on, but it's quick and easy to turn off. One thing that I will say in favour of the backlight is that it doesn't require the installation of software to control it. Too many gaming keyboards require this, and it often causes issues. Instead, the backlight is controlled by several FN key combos that are elucidated in the manual. This is a much better way of doing things. It just shows up on my system as a standard USB keyboard without any additional drivers needed, so it works seamlessly with Linux. If you're looking for an affordable, good quality wired keyboard for gaming and non-gaming uses, I thoroughly recommend this.

Keyboard stopped working after 1 year - Excellent support from TECKNET to resolve.
Purchased 12 Jan 2024.. Really liked it especially the metal structure and the LED functionality. However just over 1 year later, it has stopped working, tried vaious solution inclduing removeing the device via Device Manager in Windows, different USB pots, no joy. Luckily I still have my old keyboard that this replaced and that works perfectly in all of the USB ports. Really disappointed. Have given 3 stars due to the keyboard`s current status / not working after 1 year noting that it has been well looked after, no spills, drops etc. Have sent an email via the Tecknet Portal via Amazon 30/1/2025. Will update further once they have responded, hopefully with a solution.UPDATE 11 January 2025 - I have updated my review 5 stars. The TECKNET support team has been fantastic. My query was responded to without delay and they arranged to deliver a replacement keyboard once I tried their initial solution to reactivate it which unfortunately was unsuccessful. The team kept me updated at every stage of the process.I am so happy to receive another as I really love the construction of the keyboard, its functionality and the quietness of the keys, no clickety clack. The price of this keyboard and the excellent customer support from TECKNET means this company is highly recommended, great customer support is very rare these days. Thank you TECKNET support team.

Good value, a few niggles, suspect durability of keycaps.
This feels like a good quality keyboard, especially for the money. Metal case, heavy and solid feeling and all the light ing bling you could hope for. It loses a star for a couple of niggles. There is no way to make the backlight stay on. It turns off after five minutes of not touching it. This annoys me as the keys are difficult to see with the backlight off. It is also worth pointing out the I've had this keyboard about seven months and the up arrow key is already losing its paint. To be fair though, this is an issue with all the backlit keyboards I've had. I've now replaced it with a red dragon which doesn't seem to have the niggles but only time will tell on the durability of the keycaps.EDIT:- I have to alter this review as the issue with the double tapping CTRL was not the fault of the keyboard. It was me being an idiot, I had it plugged into a KVM which was causing the issue. So apologies to Tecknet for thaty misinformation. My only real gripe now is the backlight switching off after five minutes. If that doesn't botheer you then this is an excellent keyboard, especially for the money.

Fantastic Keyboard
The media could not be loaded. I was given a very expensive ergo keyboard and I hated it. I wanted something cheap but with nice sounding clicky keys. This keyboard has outdone itself for the price. It was a simple plug and play and it just worked. You can easily change the lights to different colours and patterns without having to install software on your PC.The key sounds are extremely satisfying. Not too loud, but a nice soft click. This is a breeze to type on.The whole thing feels very premium and we'll made, I just hope it stands the test of time!

Best keyboard I had so far.
The media could not be loaded. I am very impressed with the quality of the keyboard. Comparing with the price I have to say it's a bargain. The keys are not totally silent but so much better than my old one. If you watch the video to the end you can hear the difference.I don't know if anyone mentioned it. It is a plastic keyboard that is attached to a metal top. It's heavier compared to other keyboards but that also means it stays put no matter how much you type. It doesn't have a massive rest which I prefer. The keys feel nice and have the same action as my old one, just much more silent. My husband said my old keyboard was so loud and when I did a lot of typing it was rather annoying. The back light is bright enough (dimmable) even if you have it set to rainbow colours like I have you can recognise each button. Other reviewers already have showed what colour settings this keyboard has, so I don't need to bother. I can confirm though it's very easy to change to the colours available, you will receive a small manual with all the key combination you need to know. There is a feature I don't think anyone has mentioned. The lights go off after a few seconds if you don't use it. I find this rather good.I was comparing a few keyboards but I kept going back to this one and I am really glad I went for it.
