Terrible design
Just took delivery of this and am sending it straight back. It does look very cute, but there are two big problems with the design of it. Firstly, if you put the roof on with water and oil in the lip of the roof goes into the well all the way to the bottom. It's not very deep either, meaning you can't fill it to the top or water spills down the side if you do. Then when taking the lid off, water drips everywhere. The second problem is that the candle hole on the side is too small. This wouldn't be so bad, but there is a 5mm lip across the bottom: it's a nightmare to get candles out short of emptying the water first. It wouldn't be so bad if there were holes on the opposite side (so you could prod the candle out with something), but there aren't. It's a little like getting a coil out of a piggy bank! So... in short it looks good but isn't practical to use often. I'd reccomend getting a more traditional oil burner that was designer for purpose, rather than looks.
