Vitrex MIX1400 1400W 230V Power Mixer

I’m a plasterer and I bought one on the strength of one I’d already used. A friend of mine has had one a couple of years and I found his to be one of the best mixers I’d ever used. I got my own just before this corona madness and I used it solid for about 3 weeks. It has a 2 gear set up with variable speed. Keeps on powering through bags of gear, Fantastic piece of kit.

This is by far the best mixer I’ve had. I use it every day at work for skimming, Hardwall and dry lining adhesive. It certainly matches any big name mixing drills out there. This is my second one now, the first lasted me about 4 years. That’s mixing plaster every day for 2 plasterers and like I said, Hardwall and adhesive as well. Well worth the money!!

Up to now this has been excellent and well worth the money. The little wheel located on the left hand is very handy for speeding up or lowering the revs. Does the job.

The mixer has a lot more power than I expected. Because of this, I have bought bigger buckets to mix in! I could mix in small buckets but it was hard to stop them spinning with the power . I am not a plasterer so I use it to mix mortar etc. But, if I used it more iwould use a tin bath to mix in . Very good.
