This is the perfect set for RVing. They don't get broken. They go in the dishwasher and the microwave as opposed to Melanie plates which you can't put in either. They are sturdy and look great and wear well.

I got these for my elderly mother, so that she had nice-looking unbreakable dinnerware for her senior apartment. She doesn't entertain - she only uses these for her own meals from time to time. She wanted something neutral and plain in design, and these fit the bill for her needs.This set looks like ceramic or stoneware, but it made from wheat straw and polypropylene, which is a type of plastic used to bind the wheat straw together. Keep that in mind if you're trying to phase plastic out of your kitchen.This set will also get damaged if you cut food on it with a sharp knife, and it could also stain with things like tomato-based foods. Microwaving also must be done with care so as not to overheat them.Overall these were a good option for my mother, as she mainly uses them to eat things like cereal, sandwiches, and leftovers.

I love these products for so many reasons. Starting out its made with safer products. These are lightweight, much easier for hands that are beat up from arthritis and years of working in mechanical and machine shop environments. The finish keeps it from slipping in your hands. The food generally stays put, not sliding around having you chase after it. Cleaning is easy and fast. Mild detergents which I add to warm water in the sink. They stack nice as well. We've had them for close to a month.

They are light, inexpensive, durable, easy to clean, and easy to stack.

I love these light weight deep plates & bpwls

Thin, lightweight, raised edges and microwaveable are the highlights. However, the irritating part is the bowls get stuck together because of an air vacuum created when stacked. It’s hard to pull the bowls apart especially for seniors. Another downside is that they are very soft so they scratch easily. I ruined one of the plates with a regular steak knife cutting my meat on it which caused deep gouges and scratches.
