Crawford and Black Calligraphy Set

I am a beginner to calligraphy, so did not want to spend a lot of money at first. But I was surprised at how good this pen and the three different nibs work and you can either use cartridge or bottled ink. It is a brilliant beginner's set, highly recommend.

Ruined a special gift for my daughter! Absolutely useless pen, the ink hardly flows and stops abruptly mid-scribe. I wanted to include a message in a special book that I'd bought my daughter as a birthday gift, this made it impossible. All the stopping and starting made it look like a mess and I'm going to have to glue a page over it to cover the horror up. so very disappointed and sad for ruining an otherwise perfect gift. I tried absolutely everything as advised, simply a piece of c**p! Please avoid if you have to write anything of value, or simply wish to avoid the frustration of constant messing around. Buy a decent pen, not this junk!

Excellent product

I tried everything to make the pens work but the ink wouldn’t flow. I watched YouTube videos. Warmed up the cartridge with hot water, used a pin to press the little ball down. I was short of stamping on it when I turned the nip over and pressed down. It worked. Grrrrrr.
