Won't hold a towel. To cheaply build

I ordered these to upgrade some boring old silvery ones in our rental.The old ones are 24" and I thought these would fit exactly. They are somewhat smaller and required new holes to mount. But, once mounted they are a definite visual upgrade.So, don't rely on the "24 inch" spec if you're replacing an existing towel bar, double check the measurements in the listing and make sure you're ok with needing to add holes to mount if necessary.It was worth it to me as the look is so much fresher.
