Perfect Halloween party craft
Brought this to my 3rd graders classroom Halloween party. The kids loved it! These are not flimsy. They are durable, thick cardboard material.

Great for crafting and costuming!
You get a lot of nice quality masks for the price. It's very similar to what you would find in Michael's or Joanne's... They're a little thinner than those ones, but not by much. They're sturdy enough to take a good amount of paint and glued on bits.

Good value
Not bad quality at all. Good value for the money and sturdy. Definitely but different paint than the one it comes with.

They are ok
These are ok. They feel more like a cardboard mask than anything. You do not get near enough paint to be able to paint all them then. Most of the styles in my opinion look a lot alike.

Fun project!
I am having a lot of fun painting these masks. I like that I don't have to make my own paper mache masks. It's easy to alter the masks to your liking. I did some different cuts along the edges and cut a different shape for the eyes. I've also taken pieces from one and glued them to another to come up with some interesting stuff. There's no limit to creativity. This is good for adults and children. It can be a good project for a class or a project with parents and children. It's also good if you're a loner and want a fun project. Anyone that enjoys art should paint some masks. It's so much fun to try them on afterwards. It's interactive art!One drawback is that there is not a lot of paint included. You may want to order some extra paint to go along with this. I already have a bunch of acrylic paints, so I was able to complete more masks. The strings for the masks are also included. There seem to be enough. This is a good way to get creative without having to stop and make paper mache masks every time you have an idea. It's so much easier to get them already made. I haven't tried to see if it's possible to reshape the masks with some water, but I'd like to try. The edges are sharply cut. Be careful of paper cuts.I am having fun, and this will be fun later on too. There are plenty of masks. I recommend these if you're looking for already formed and cut masks. I think it's a good value, and will bring smiles to some faces.

Not only for Halloween
The pumpkin mask is more limited to Halloween but the other three can be used for anything. I used them with teenagers to self express their emotions thru face masks. I will most likely buy these again to use with more teens. The price is good at about $2/mask.

Very nice masks for mixed media and suprisingly sturdy
I know these are Halloween masks but I wanted to do a canvas craft piece and Halloween just isn’t a year-round theme for me :). Though the masks are definitely shaped and designed to be a little more on the scary side (I mean, my mermaid looks a little like Jason, no?), they still work for other themes. In any case, what surprised me most, is the mask held up to a lot abuse. Acrylic paints, water, me trying to get stencils to lie flat (that nose kept getting in the way!), modeling paste, shells, etc. As a novice mixed media crafter, I am very happy with the results. I’m planning to decorate three of the pumpkin faces to decorate for Halloween and/or Thanksgiving. Glad I took a chance on these!
