Does it cover the back? Like the whole couch?

Yes, this is a really nice couch cover that covers all the seats. The arms has a pocket on each side of the arm and goes all the way down the back of the couch. I have a dual electric, reclining sofa a three seater sofa, and it stretches out all the way in covers the complete foot rest of my sofa, and mine is a wall hugger so each reclining and almost lays down like a bed and it covers everything completely. I would highly recommend this sofa cover.

How do the ties or straps work on the back？

Hello, there are extra buckles come with the cover. You need to use buckles to connect the straps on the back and the armrest respectively to enhance the anti-slip performance

Is the Dark gray a true gray or a blue gray?
