MAG II Wireless Magneton Induction Controller PS3 PC Win 8.0

I ordered the MAG II gun controller as the first part in an eventual Virtual Reality setup (involving an Oculus Rift and an Omni treadmill). The gun responds well and is surprisingly sensitive. It works well on the PS3 and I also had it working on Half-Life 2 on Ubuntu Linux. The device is easy to set up and has a good weight to it thats not too light nor too heavy.As it does not use any sensor bar to track location, it does take a little getting used to. Because it uses gyroscopes to track position of looking around, you will often find yourself pointing outside of the screen while turning, or not pointing the gun directly in line with the characters gun on screen (meaning you can be shooting off to the left with the gun, but in game is pointing straight).Calibration can be done on the fly with a simple press of the 'MARK' button, this can be done at any time and can help re-align the gun to what is displayed on screen.The controller has a good vibration feedback, that leaves the hands buzzing after some continuous fire of a heavy machine gun :).After playing through Killzone 3 in 3D with this gun, I managed to get the hang of it and overall felt more involved in the game than with just a control pad. However, the downside to the MAG is that it lacks the same motion sensors as the PS3 controller, so if you have a game (such as Killzone) which occasionally makes you 'tilt' the controller to perform an action, you will need to temporarily switch controllers back to the standard PS3 pad.Overall, this gun is worth the money for the ability to use it an any game (though it doesnt work so well in 3rd person shooters).

It's enjoyable to use, but I wish the drivers would be updated for windows 11. Fun times none-the-less.

la unica pistola que pensava que funcionaria ¿que lastima? y es todo lo comtrario no funciona bien en pc no consigo istalar los draiver en el hordenador window 10 la pajina no exsite ojo al entrar en la pajina oficial que pone en los papeles se able una pajina de videos porno ademas no tiene bateria recargeble es de pilas normales cosa no mencionada en el producto yo no entiendo de informatica pero hasta yo lo uviera pensado mejor al fabricarla

Die Gun ist für ca 50€ Gut verarbeitet da kann mann nicht Meckern (180$ ursprungspreis sind massiv übertrieben). Nach einem Update (auf der Geräteherstellerseite zu beziehen) läuft das teil dann auch Problemlos of eurer X-Box 360.Ein cooles Recoil Magazin mit Akku ist in Planung aber leider noch nicht verfügbar*.WICHTIG:Das Teil ist zwar Plug& Play, aber selbst ich als Ultra Hardcore Gamer der ersten Generation (ab C16 bis heute) brauchte erst mal ca 1 Stunde einarbeitung um mich mit dem Teil zu akklimatisieren (Gameplay).Die Gun selbst funktioniert Gyroskopisch, das bedeutet ihr braucht keine Lightbar etc somit wird aber auch nicht direkt auf den Screen Beamer gezielt (vergleich mit einem Zeichentablettvom Feeling).Ingame Einstellung (geschmackssache aber hier Meine Empfehlung für die Gun):Die Justierung des Rechten Sticks bzw der Mausempfindlichkeit sollte bei einer Scala von1-10 ca auf 8-9 Neun eingestellt werden. Die Spielschwierigkeit bei einer Scala von 1-4 auf1-2. Dann habt ihr eine Menge Spass.Frag-Master wird keiner mit dem Teil, ernsthaftes Multiplayer könnt ihr außer mit 2 Guns vergessen.Denk ma bis die Delta-Six Rauskommt die beste wahl richtung Gyro-Gun Controller.Pro: Gutes Feeling, Bildschirm größe egal (daher auch am Beamer Nutzbar), Rechts Linkshänder Freundlich.Con: Am PC Rumble bei jedem Schuss (Nervt da nicht deaktivierbar), on the Fly Calibration dauerhaft NotwendigEpic Fail:* An der Gun ist kein Schaft, wenn mann über ca 160cm gross ist das ding unbequem da zu klein. Ich habe mir aus Holz eine Schulterstütze gebaut und diese an der Gun Befestigt und seit dem ist das ding ein Traum.

Also so etwas schlechtes hatte ich noch nie obwohl ich ein Computer ass bin und ich mich mit fast allem auskenne habe ich es unter windows 8.1 einfach nicht zum laufen bekommen.Es ist fast schon Abzurt das Amazon so etwas dämliches verkauft.Es gibt nicht mal eine Deutsche Homepage so man Software rrunterladen kann.Wir leben im 20 jahundert und die haben nicht mal einen anständigen Homepage das ding wird auf jeden fall reklamiert.

Alle paar sekunden ist die Kalibration für die Katz.Wenn ich eine PC-Waffe kaufe, will ich damit auch genau schiessen können.Das Zielkreuz verschiebt sich bei jede schnelle Bewegung und ist somit nicht syncron mit der Waffe.
