Veey nice oil filter cap that goes on your oil filter once removed from your vehicle to prevent spillage from the filter. This is a must have on hard to reach filter or tight spaces that require you to lay the filter down to get it out. Very nice and well worth every penny to keep the driveway clean.

Brilliant solution to dumping used diesel oil all over your Ram pick up. Buy this thing! Lower oil filter, screw on plug with handle on top THEN a turn the filter on its side to get it out of the frame. A genius solution to a stupid idea! Well made out of aluminum, I expect to get years of use from it. Great value for your Buck!

A necessary tool for the job. Easy to install/use when removing old filter and installing the new one. No mess!

Needed to change the oil filter on my 2024 Ram with the Cummins. Some genius there at Chrysler who has never changed oil in their life thought it would be a grand idea to stiffen the truck frame by welding a plate across the bottom. Cool. I like a sturdy truck. Not complaining. What they failed to consider was that plate blocks access to the oil filter. Some other dude or dudette who got their engineering degree off an internet website then imagined that cutting a tiny hole through the inner fender on the passenger front wheel well would be a perfectly acceptable alternative. You just have to shove your man-sized hand through a leprechaun-sized access port made of razor blade sharp plastic, to somehow loosen and unscrew the not-small oil filter. Then you get to turn it sideways to pull it back through that delightful hole. Full of oil. Through the hole which is not large enough for your hand AND the oil filter. If you haven’t had the delight of this experience yet, please, please, please allow me the privilege of recommending you go do something more enjoyable instead. You know…clean the toilet. Something like that.Oh! The tool! Yeah, I actually forgot. So this doohicky screws into the top of your unscrewed-but-still-full-of-oil filter and seals it so you can turn it sideways and get it out of that little access port. Without dumping oil all over the place. Same for putting a new filter pre-filled with clean oil back in and on. I won’t say it’s a simple job but it’s possible and far better than cleaning up would be otherwise. I still think someone at Ram needs to be forced to change the oil, but I’m happy with this tool as a help.
