Kiddi Style Children's Pirate Wooden Convertible Toy Box

Purchased with an expectation that this might not be quite as good as it looks in the pictures, once received I can happily state that the artwork and finish is very good and the final assembled product does look just as good as the item pictures.The assembly instructions are not quite correct with respect to the screws itemised for assembly. The diagrams refer to two different screw lengths with the same number. Thankfully, the organised packaging make it difficult to use the wrong parts. Each screw or fitment part is individually wrapped making assembly a simple referral process to the parts list. The sprung hinge had me baffled for a short while trying to work out which way to orientate it but I expect that was due to my 5 month old ensuring daddy didn't get much sleep. This same sprung hinge ensures a soft close for the lid - an aspect my wife has wondered about with the possibility of little fingers getting trapped - so that was one problem resolved before it even became an issue.Once built, it looks really good and feels solid and sturdy, with the built in carry handles enabling easy movement of the item. The conversion to desk option is well thought out with two wooden knobs that must be fully removed to allow conversion so there's no chance of it happening by accident.We're going to purchase more items from the range now and although our wee boy is a little too young to use it, the pirates are safely guarding a good number of his toys.

Fantastic toy box really good quality and my son loves it. Even I like the fact it turns into a table so that my son can eat at the table for snack time or do some colouring. And then even better the toy box can turn into a seat. The wood feels like it will last a good long time. And the painting is very good quality as well. My husband had no problems building this toy box up. The delivery was fast and good and I really can't fault this item.

Look nice but very complicated to assemble. Some drilling holes were not accurate for drilling purposes. Have to force the screw in caused cracks and damages to the products. Visual aid for assembling was not clear enough.
