You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for. These are ok, I doubt they'll last through winter, Ive had them a few months and they seem ok but they're a bit thin, the zips on the ankles are ok but one of them has got loose threads already and is becoming a bit troublesome. These are very tight over the waist, in fact I struggled to get them over my hips, they're ok once you've done that and they have slacked off a bit over time but not a lot, no waist cords or tie ups. Im a size 30 waist all year long, 6ft tall and and on the slim side, these are supposed to be 30-34!! If you're a 34 you will never get them on. If I bought these again I'd get the next size up. So whilst I think they're ok for the price I think next time I will pay more and get something better, I can't really comment on whether they are thermal or not as its not gotten cold yet but as I say, they seem a bit thin compared to my last pair.

Dont be legless ...
Completed several long test rides in temperatures 6 to 10 and these are OK if you are someone who rides 'hard' at these temperatures. For lower temps I need more layers of leggings, so just recently when it was 2-3 degs (don't forget wind chill on top) I have normal tight thermal leggings underneath and some looser fitting leggings over everything. Only then does it keep cold out for me (50 plus age) when I might be out for 2.5 or 3 hours. Comfortable with elastic waist and a zip on lower leg which is great, but probably not essential. I went for medium, and I like to pull them up over my fat belly (its not that bad) and the leggings hold their position so I can tuck my base layer in. However, pulled up like this they are 2cm on the short side for me, I have your average inside leg for a 5-11 person, this means there is a gap exposed just above my ankles (with low cut socks.) However, not a big problemI found the seat padding 'strange' at first, it felt weird for the first time. However, it is an admirable substitute for a gel seat cover and so that is more clutter out of the way.Not washed them yet - if anything goes wrong I will update.

Two rides in, perfect for Autumn, more to come
For the price I think they're great. Big comfy pad, just right insulation for rides in Autumn temperatures, and have done two rides in them without too much trouble. First one only 25 miles and was very happy. Second run was about 60 miles and the only issue I had was with the pad shifting a little 45 miles in. Stop and reposition sorted that. Temperature was about 11-14 C and I found them to be just right, haven't tried on colder days yet. Quality seems good, would happily recommend them

All good
The tights are slightly long for me but I have short legs, so used to that, however, the waist was quite low and I had lots of practice pulling the tights up. Seem to be quite good quality overall.Didn't go far and the first outing of the year, but the padding didn't seem to be where I wanted it on the saddle, but that might be down to me too, Will find out next time.

Same Same But Different!
This is my second pair. Bought my first pair in small size over 2 years ago. Was impress by how warn they were in the cold winter. This time round, however, the fabric is noticeably thinner. Not going to return them though hoping that they will keep my legs warm enough during the colder months. We'll see.

Excellent value cycling tights
Very good value cycling tights that fit well. At first I was put off by what appeared to be a fairly stiff and bulky pad, but when riding found this quite comfortable. I have just cycled the Baltics in cold weather (-2 to 4 degrees) and would not recommend these for use below about 8 degrees C. Recommended for use around this time of year in the UK.

Happy with these
My first foray into cycling tights and I'm happy with these. The sizing is accurate. Provides that extra bit of warmth for the knees when the temperature drops below 10C and much nearer and more secure than leg warmers. The pad isn't as comfortable as the one in my cycling shorts though.

Well made, comfortable and warm
First time out with these yesterday on the CX bike, they're a snug fit but not at all uncomfortable. Likewise they're thicker than my usual tights but actually, really warm and I didn't get the usual chill after an hour or so. Well made, comfortable and warm without being too think etc.Maybe a little low cut at the back, but that's a minor point. Will be getting more in the future.
