very smart and modern looking outdoor socket. very bright power lights
brought this to replace a much cheaper outdoor socket that leaked water. the build quality of this looks great. measurements for fixing holes marked on the back to help with mounting. very bright blue power lights. cant see inside the door when its closed so unsure how water resistant it is yet. awaiting a rainy day.

Easy connection .
Very easy to mount and plenty of room to connect input cable . Robust construction and also has led's when lit indicate power is switched on at unit a useful assurance that the power is good . Have lightly oiled cover to keep it's good appearance .

Good manufacture...but is a beast in size
Nice product range from BG (I love the light switches), pretty stylish and good functionality with great quality seals, clip lock latches and led neons.I'm just a little disappointed at the size of the fitting, bigger than any other MK or BG fitting I have used. Yup, I know outside two-gang sockets aren't discreet...but this is a beast, and it is fitted up a wall to clear a water tap (regulation distance...) and has now become too much of a feature for my liking.I'm living with it, but don't love it.

Beautiful but beast size
It’s beautiful and stylish it is very attractive I however find a bit weird with the voluminous size.I am yet to install and use it

Looks good and very simple to install. It feels very good quality and gives a nice blue glow when switches are turned on.

Ugly looking thing...
It's really ugly and expensive - sent it back for a 'regular' BG box... much nicer and cheaper.

Nothing to complain about here.
Love this box. Looks really nice & well made. Just add some WD40 to the finish to keep it looking good for years. Mine is hidden but I’d be happy to have it in a position where it can be seen. Lid can be left up & open during use & closed & locked shut to seal out the weather.
