Continues to work just fine. This year is particularly bad for mosquitos, I've had to empty the trap twice (full) and changed the fly paper 3 times and it's only been a month. I bring it inside in the winter and clean it with compressed air. Had to change the AA battery twice in 8 years. Works great and don't have to plug it in. **Q: Does this kill bees** A: The SkeeterVac does not attract or kill bees. It works by attracting mosquitoes through emitting carbon dioxide and water vapor (products of combustion) which the mosquito thinks are the breath of a person. It also has several tiny flashing lights which further attract mosquitoes. Use of a pheromone is optional, and makes the unit more effective against some strains of mosquito and less effective against some others. We don't use any pheromone, and living as we do in old riverbed riddled with mosquito habitat couldn't enjoy our patio and back yard at dusk without this machine or one like it. **Q: Does it work on no see 'ems?** A: No. Also be prepared to have it work for only about one summer. **Q: I have a galaxy flowton is this compatable with my unit?** A: I have never heard of a galaxy flowtron......so I have no idea. I can only tell you that the bait cartridge is a rectangular block about 2" by 1.25" by 1" If that fits the area in your unit that accepts the bait, you are probably good to go. Good luck. We've used it now for three years, replacing the lure and the sticky material only four times. Our mosquito problem, which was huge, has ended. The machine is quiet and easy to move from place to place so we can cover the front yard, side yard and back yard. Can't ask for more than that!!Also, we have some heavy rains here, and the vac just keeps on doing it's job. It stores well in the sub-zero winters (just in an old shed) and starts right up in the spring. Simple to run. Parts are a bit expensive (for us), but well worth it. Don't know how we enjoyed summer without it!Also, when our machine would not restart at the beginning of a new season, the company spent at least 1/2 hr. on the phone with my husband helping him find out what the problem was, and then sent us the part that had gone bad. We have had extraordinary rainfalls this year and just a week ago had over 12 inches of rain which caused havoc and the Governor declaring northern Wisconsin a federal disaster area. We've never have had so much standing water which is the best favorable environment for mosquitoes. We bought 3 of these for around our cabins not knowing what to think and we're absolutely amazed how these Skeeter Vacs just clear the area of all mosquitoes. The key is to have them going all the time where they kill the females and this Skeeter Vac does the job several ways. It attracts them and zaps them and they also get stuck or they get sucked up...best of all they're dead and gone!
