I bought these to replace the regular rubber lickimats which my cats destroyed and tore apart. They can’t do that with these! After a year, these have held up well.

Stella has been a consistent re-depositor of her meals. The vet stated she is eating too quickly. Over the years different dishes and methods were tried to slow her down. Golf balls on her dish so she had to work around the ball. Elevated, flatter dishes etc. We tried the Lickity Mat most recently. Stella no longer leaves multiple spots to clean up in a day. It is generally once a week to two weeks before we notice food that is regurgitated. Looking back, those are the days where the food was mounded on the Lickity Mat. This is a product that finally worked to get a cat with sensitive stomach to slow down and digest her food.

This was purchased so my cat finally slows down when eats and stops puking everywhere. Although, idea is great, the reality bombed differently. It is so hard to clean up. I have a spray faucet and that's the only thing that saved me during washing this up. At the moment lick mat cleaned up and takes up space in the storage next to cat's food. Possibly, it works better with the larger dogs since they eat more and maybe lick it clean, but didn't work for my 14 lbs cat.On the positive note - the cat mostly wasn't puking during the short time of use of the mat.

It took a little while for me cats to stop giving me the "Really? This again?" look, but now they prefer to be fed using these. Great items. I went for the Tough option because I know my cats.No puking.They often switch, mid-feed, and sample each others trays.No fighting.Get these.

I bought this because my cat eats too fast. This morning it took him 45 minutes to eat less than 3 oz of wet food mixed with pumpkin.I got the "soothing" design for cats and he really seems to like it.

My furrbutt had developed a habit of snatching is other licking matts to chew on them lately, so we switched to this one, and it really does stand up against it. The matt still does the job of slowing down his eating, and making him less anxious, while having the added bonus of surviving against him.

Food that was spread on the mat dried out very quickly and our cat didn't like the texture of the mat. Returned it.
