Obsessed!! Wish I Could Rate It Even Higher!
I've been trying out all sorts of papers this month for my new printer. Granted- im not very familiar with different paper types so I can't speak on the luster quality like the other reviews- but I think this paper is seriously AMAZING! This is by far the best paper I've gotten so far and it will be my go-to from now on.I've been using it in my wide format EcoTank and the colors are so incredibly vibrant!! I am an artist who specializes in bright color and I'm love with the art prints I was able to make on this paper. The color is even better than prints I had gotten from an art print manufacturer previously! Its great for high contrast work, I'm particularly impressed with how dark the black gets on this paper. I like the finish of the paper- that its not quite gloss but its also not completely matte. It feels really nice to hold and touch. The only issue at all I've found is that this can scratch a bit easily- and sometimes the paper has a sticky surface especially when its humid out. I personally don't mind the slight sticky-ness of it and it does not smudge or leave markings so thats fine- but its something to be aware of.Either way, this is definitely my new favorite paper and I look forward to ordering it for more of my work!!

Expensive but worth the Quality
This paper is an ideal combination of part gloss and part matte, giving a very professional look for prints.

Looks great on my wall.
I am a professional photographer. After years using Epson papers and printers, I tried this paper on my Canon printer. The results were as very well received.

Good mid-premium paper with a wide color gamut
I thought I would write a pretty thorough review to help anyone else that comes across this paper, as there does not seem to be a lot of information regarding it out there. All tests were performed using a custom ICC profile generated with an XRite i3Pro Plus Colorimeter on an Epson SureColor P600 using the ConeColor Pigment Inkset with HDX Vivid Magenta. Media type was set to Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster and print resolution for profiling was wet to 1440 DPI.First off, the good:After profiling I was very pleased to find that the ASub Luster had quite a large color gamut. The paper's color gamut was actually comparable to Ilford's Galerie Prestige Smooth Pearl, my go to luster/pearl for exhibition. Asub's gamut was also quite a bit wider than Premier Imaging's Luster paper, which is my typical go to for inexpensive prints, as a 30ft 13" roll can be had for a low price. Given how my larger Asub's gamut is, however, I may be likely to turn to it instead when I am in need of a low cost luster paper.Additionally, Asub Luster takes very well to high resolution printing, with a noticeable difference in gradients and high detail areas when printing at 5760 DPI vs 1440 DPIThe paper seems very durable. I was unable to scratch the surface with my fingernail. The paper also seems to stand up to Asub's claim that it is waterproof, as I was unable to get the paper to absorb water when holding it under a faucet, and the ink did not run. It is important to note however, that the ink used was pigment based ink (most high end and prosumer Epson printers are pigment based). Mileage may vary on dye based printers, such as Canon. Now for the bad:This paper is near impossible to light. You will notice bright specs in some of my sample images. These specs are not in the print, but rather light scattering off the surface of the paper. In my photos, I have a comparison between a sheet of Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl and Asub Luster, from several angles using the same light source. While the ilford paper hardly casts any glare at all, the Asub Luster kind of....sparkles? That would be my best description. The paper has somewhat of a glittery orange peel look to it. It is very apparent in dark areas of an image, but is noticeable across the whole sheet of paper, making it very hard to light. For this reason, I cannot recommend this paper for exhibition purposes.Additionally, this paper is somewhat thin at 10.2 mils. I am used to "Premium" paper being 12+ mils. Not a huge issue, but something you should be aware of if you are used to other premium paper.Overall, for the price, this was a pretty good durable luster paper with a nice wide gamut. It would be great for someone getting into printing or for low stakes use purposes. However, if you are looking for something to print your portfolio on or to display in a gallery, spend some extra on something from ilford, Breathing Color, Legion....as the light scattering effect of this paper leaves something to be desired. When I have the ICC profile I used for this available on my website, I will update the review with a link.

Inaccurate description
The description claims this product is double sided, however it does not seem to be as one side of the paper is a VERY different and not printable. That being said, the pro luster side is very nice and prints amazingly.

Print look amazing
I’ve only printed a few photos using my Epson XP 15000, but the prints are great and suitable for framing. I can’t attest to the longevity of the prints, but if I see a problem with color change over time (which happens with other non Epson papers I’ve used) I’ll come back and update this review. For now, I’m extremely pleased with the prints, and the finish of this paper.

Colores vibrantes
