My back door opens to the outside. The inside color is a tan color and the dark brown makes a nice subtle accent at the bottom. Instructions were easy to follow. I unrolled the strip and let it straighten out for a day or so. I measured and used scissors to cut the correct length. I used a hair dryer on high and went back and forth to help soften it a bit as directed and also help activate the adhesive. I then used the hair dryer to go back and forth on the door to warm it up as well. Finally, I peeled off the adhesive protective strip and plied to the door. After smoothing it out a few times, I used the hair dryer again to go back and forth a few more times. As per the directions, I didn’t open the door for about a day. It’s been great ever since. I used yo get a draft but no more. Heavy rains would sometimes push in water drops but no more. So, this product is doing everything I wanted to do and looks good on my door.

Had a bad draft under a kitchen door -- north wind could cause a minor snow drift! On tile floors, 2 pairs of socks weren't cutting it. Installation couldn't be easier. I did have a small section (2"??) that detached from heavy rain beating on it, but for the most part, this sweep stopped the wind, and at least dammed up all snow and MOST water until I could sweep or mop any excess. There was a small amount left over to replace the length and it has held well. Will see how summer heat affects it. Overall, good product!

The draft stop is fine only gave it 4 stars because no matter how good you clean the door the product doesn’t stick very well. Had to use glue
