Thanks to Amazon and the Distributer the part got us heat in the house again and quicker and much, much cheaper than using local parts suppliers ($115 and 3 day wait or they wouldn't sell to homeowner, only repair facilities or dealers). The part was easy to install if you have a capability to solder your wire leads and connector - install took 25 minutes. You could possible use wire connectors, but that might not be reliable. Best to strip insulation off wire, put a piece of shrink tubing on each lead (polarity not important), wrap each pair of wires tightly together, and then solder them with radio/rosin core solder, and heat the shrink tubing.Use care in installing (power off). The part could be fragile. Use a socket on handle wrench and tighten securely.Most important! These parts do deteriorate after numerous heat experiences. For the price, keep a spare replacement handy if you live in a cold climate where might be essential part of the year.Thanks again for AMAZON for being a MINDFUL company and helping us every day!

funciono perfecto solo que la parte de donde va atornillado es muy pequeño podría hacer mas larga la lamina de atornillado a si seria mas universal porque se ajustaría mucho mejor al ensamblaje

furnace went out in winter. no local store carried an HSI. luckily amazon delivered next day.not the exact replacement, but its job is to be hot enough that when gas hits it, it ignites the gas. it plugged right in, and fixed my furnace, and for like 10-20 bucks.while i was waiting for it to arrive, i handlit the burners. im a professional.

This is the 2nd time my furnace would not start in 7 years - this was a simple fix you can do yourself and save the large service trip charge from an HVAC company. They would probably charge you for this ignitor as well for more...

I got this because the Pentair part I needed would take 10 days to deliver instead of one for this. It works great- heater fired up as normal and it'll likely outlast the rest of my old heater.

Only last a year

So far so good awesome replacement.
