There is no oil paint palette better than glass. It's nice, heavy, and perfectly smooth. I place it on a sheet of white paper for best color mix evaluation. It is not led free so it does have a greenish tint when you look on the edges but it's not thick enough to affect my judgement. It's a breeze to clean, heavy enough to stay put on my table surface, and super gentle on some of my expensive paint brushes.. I know that there are many painters who look for glass cutting boards to use as a paint palette so this review is for using this one as that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ nice but 1 problem *by K***R on April 28, 2013* I bought this primarily to avoid covering up my new Silestone counter. It does that plus it's about 3/8" (1 cm) thick, so I expect it to stand up to ordinary kitchen activities. The feet seem fine and the greenish tint mentioned by other reviewers is very slight, I don't have a problem with it. The only reason I knocked a star off is because the idiots who labelled it put a separate UPC label directly on the glass instead of incorporating it into the overall product label. The UPC label has the type of adhesive that never lets go and shreds the label as you try to remove it.
