After six months of use, as my "second cut" nippers, I can say they make very clean cuts and the blades are still sharp. They're much sturdier than the $35 Tamiya clippers I got for Christmas that broke after a month of very light duty. I paid $12 and I really can't imagine the pricier nippers cutting any cleaner than these. In a hobby with a lot of overpriced, "premium" tools available, it was nice to have found a premium tool at a very reasonable price. If I had to list a con, it would be that the pleather cover for the pointy bits is really cheap, and flimsy, but it doesn't affect the nippers in any way. I bought these after the blade of my Godhands broke (I think my kid got to them when I was away for work). For the price these can't be beat; not as smooth/sharp as Godhands but these do beat them in price and other competitor single blade nippers.
