Perfect size and comfy enough for a 3-day road trip!!
This was a life-saver for our ling drive from AZ to MT with a packed car! My pup stayed in it for basically 3 days and was comfortable and happy. I could tell she felt safe. I was initially worried it would be in my way while driving, but it wasn't - granted I'm only 5' 2" and the seat was pretty far forward. My pup is about 6.5 lbs, for reference. I should add that we didnt use the straps on the bottom to secure it because our console rolls open and closed, it doesn't hinge open - but I had a small cooler behind the console to give a little extra support in the back, so it wasn't an issue at all. Overall high quality, a good balance of structure/support and flexibility, soft cushions, and cute design. I even used it as a "carrier" at a restaurant patio for dinner and she stayed in it on my lap the whole time.

The VIP Pup Suite My CX-5 Didn’t Know It Needed
🎶 “Move dog, get out the front — get comfy in the back, and stunt!” 🎶I was on a mission to find the perfect throne for my 10-pound Maltipoo, and this SlowTon Console Dog Car Seat is it. It fits like a glove right in the backseat center armrest of my Mazda CX-5, elevating him just enough so he has a full panoramic view of the cabin and the front windshield. No more front seat shenanigans — he gets his own VIP box seat, and I get to drive without guilt or distraction. It also happens to match my interior so well, you’d think it came with the car. Stylish, secure, and sanity-saving. If your pup is small but full of opinion (like mine), do them — and yourself — a favor and grab this.

Good temporarily
Good size for my puppy, bottom is sturdy and the straps are very convenient. We use it in the car and to bring to restaurants for her to sit in since she’s not vaccinated yet and can roam on the ground. The cushion is comfortable and it is aesthetically pleasing. I like the small pocket on the side as I can keep treats or my phone in there. The only issue is that the sides aren’t very sturdy, they bend and bow outward when she leans on them and are starting to warp just after 3 weeks. Hopefully it’ll last until she is 20 weeks old and then we can upgrade to a sturdier car carrier. Value for money I would say is a little pricey.

LOVE THIS!
This is PERFECT for my puppy! It's awesome to have a nice little spot for her in between the seats. We don't have back seats so it keeps her in one spot, and safely buckled in. She loves to chill and take a nap while we drive.

PERFECT for small dogs!
My 4lb senior Yorkie LOVES this bed! We do long car trips several times a year, and usually, our little dogs ride comfortably in the backseat. Recently, however, one of our pups died, and our remaining dog doesn’t like being in the backseat alone. On our recent trip, he insisted on riding on someone’s lap, shoulder, or on the front console after my husband put a crate pad on it. So I started looking for something that would fit there, but provide some security for him. This car seat is perfect. It’s easy to install, and sits very securely with the straps underneath and others that fasten to the headrests. It’s very cushy with the included pillows. My dog jumped right in and knew it was his place. As noted in other reviews, the sides are not super sturdy, and a bigger dog could bend them, but our boy is so tiny that’s not a problem. I fastened it in, put the cushions down and put one of his blankets in it. When I put him in it, he settled right in! He happily stayed in it during a 14 hour drive. He can see out the windows, he’s right beside us, and he’s super comfortable the whole time. I am so happy- best money I’ve spent in a long time.

Perfect for little dog who needs to be close while in car
It fits perfectly on the center console of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I like that there are straps to hook around the headrest poles as well as around the lid of the console. There is also a strap to hook to my chihuahua's harness so he is kept in his seat. There is a cute little pillow that velcroes over the front panel, but the stuffing is not enough and it slides to the inside and outside of the front panel, leaving just the thin cardboard edge for my dog's chin to rest on. It cannot be that comfortable, so I am going to find some good foam and put on there underneath the pillow and over the cardboard edge. It is made of stiff cardboard that has been covered with nice fabric, and there is a little cushion inside to make the ride a little more comfortable. I will probably put foam in there too. It serves its purpose for what we need.

Great quality!!
I have a Maltese/Shih tzu. He’s 10lbs. He fits perfectly in it. He absolutely loves it. It was really easy to put together. Great product with a great price.

Disappointing quality, flimsy materials and poor construction
I put this together as soon as it arrived because I wanted to try it right away and see if my dog liked his new car seat! One of the things that attracted me to it was the size, since it appeared to fit well with a Tesla center console. Teslas have smaller/skinnier consoles in my opinion, and my last seat is too wide. While it looked sturdy once the base was inserted, it quickly became clear it’s just fabric-covered cardboard. The sides have a very thin (about 0.5 mm) padding, and the inside of the base has a soft, velvety finish that feels nice but doesn’t seem durable. The included pillows are disappointing. They’re poorly sewn, lumpy, and feel like they’re stuffed with craft-grade material or cotton balls rather than anything comfortable or supportive. One is meant to line the bottom, and the other folds over the front edge as a headrest, but neither feels well-made. The one that folds over is intended to provide visibility to the dog as they sit in the seat and look out. I would not call this a roomy seat, so if your dog is 10lbs or more, I recommend sizing up if you decide to purchase this brand. The straps that secure it to the console seem decently attached, but the underside fabric is so thin that the Velcro straps have already snagged it just from being shipped. I can’t imagine this holding up for more than a few rides, even with my very small dog, which gives me concerns for its safety. For nearly $40, the quality just isn’t there. I’m returning it.
