I recently installed the Fingerprint Scanner Lock on my bedroom door, and I must say, it has completely transformed my sense of security and convenience at home. Our front door has only one hole for a knob, no deadbolt. This was very easy to install, took out the old knob, popped this in in about 10 minutes. Now, the hard part. The app. The app is not great but does work well once navigated and explored to see what this knob is able to do. Holds up to 20 fingerprints and once I found where to add fingerprints, it was easy to record them on the knob. What I really like about this knob is I set it to be permanently locked. (Note: It only locks from the outside.) So, the front door is ALWAYS locked from the outside and always unlocked on the inside. Perfect! What's even better is that once the fingerprints are established on the knob, the app isn't really necessary anymore. Unless you want to add more fingerprints or change settings to certain lock times. Or you want to open the door through the app. (I don't.) So, add the fingerprints of the people you want to have access to your home and, well, the rest can stay outside where they belong. Note: the knob also comes with 2 keys so it can be opened with a key, say if the batteries die or the fingerprint fails.

At first I was uncertain about how this would work with my bedroom door after all I want to be able to lock my bedroom door from unwanted guest enter my bedroom without my permission. I went ahead and bought this smart knob lock because I don't want to open the door with key at every time I need to open it. This did meet my expectation and it was easy set up the hardware and connect to app. The codes and fingerprints work great for me without any issue as long you keep your finger clean and oil-free or hand lotion. The app work well but the feature in the app is somehow little weird and confused but it is not a deal breaker here. The smart knob lock looking really nice but it may looking little bulky but still pretty to me, it does automatically lock itself when close the door. I'd recommend this smart knob lock for any room that you don't want kids or nosey guests enter the room. It came in a nice package and instruction too.
