Strong, heavy duty just wish they came with tie handles.

Purchased for disposing two boxes of cat litter. The litter used is heavy in itself and makes heavy balls of the wet urine. This is a wide enough bag to place the litter boxes in and tilt them to empty and held up so far by holding the spent litter and weight. These bags are perfect for the job plus they are compostable. Can't ask for much more while doing this yukky job.

Very well made, thick bags that really hold up well to a heavy load

These compostable trash bags are heavy duty, extra thick, and very well made. They hold up strong without tearing and are a great eco-friendly alternative. Although I accidentally purchased the wrong size, I can still say the quality is excellent, and I will definitely buy the correct size in the future.

The extra size is perfect for leafs.

I live in a neighborhood that requires the use of biodegradable leaf bags for any yard waste. I've been using the heavy paper ones because in the past all of the "plastic" ones I've tried were easily ripped when twigs or cuttings from the hedges were put in them. I saw that these bags had high reviews and decided to try them- they are by far the best bags of this type I have tried. I've put all sorts of the usual suspects (small branches, twigs, cuttings from the hedges) and so far no tears or rips! The added bonus is that they can get wet- sometimes it takes a while for me to fill a bag and I'll leave it on a paved path in my backyard. We get lots of unexpected rain showers which was a big no-no for the paper bags, but these bags do all right! I will buy another pack when I use up the current box.

I am uncertain about why these bio-degradable bags start degrading so promptly once in my trash can but other than I bought a too large bage for a 30 gallon trash can, there doesn’t seem to be any reason other than time. I get trash picked up once a week, by trash day the sides of the barely full bag (1/4) were visibly degraded and just lifting it out started leaks and tears forming. This is not the only brand of biodegradable bag that suffers the same fate, but the latest. Very disappointing as the bags appear extra thick and sturdy when first put in and I do want an alternative to the black plastic bags.

I try not to throw away too many things that will end up in landfills, but some things do get thrown away. I'm glad these bags are biodegradable, so they don't add to the plastic waste.
