Great little switch at a good price. Used it to power a 1/2 HP motor on a home made strip sander. Keep in mind that you'll have to modify a blank box cover to mount the switch (I used a steel handy box). Cut the box cover with a multitool. As others point out the mounting tabs are very stiff so you'll need to enlarge the hole slightly on the long axis to make installation easier.

It works but the design is weird, this is more like a saw switch. Hitting the red button flips the switch and latches a cover. You then open it and turn it back on

This is a good switch, works great. Made from good materials. I would buy this one again and would recommend it to others looking to buy.

The switch does what it's supposed to do, I like the recessed "on" button and the higher "off" button. I would like something more tactile for the indication - I know the different heights provide that, generally, but it would still be nice to have that extra indication.Unless you already have a hole sized for this, you'll need to make your own. On the horizontal direction, give yourself just a little wiggle room, as the tension grips on the side are very robust.

I got this to use on my table saw (which has an on/off switch in an electrical box.) This switch will work to protect against an accidental restart after a power failure. However, I will have to make a face plate to accept the "snap-in" mount. The thing I don't like about this particular switch is that it isn't as easy to operate as other magnetic switches. The red off button is small and not easy to locate quickly. Technically it functions correctly as a magnetic switch but just not as well as others.

Replaced the start stop on wood shredder from gardenworks. Easier than requesting warranty service.
