So, this is my first pair of shoes with any kind of toebox inside them. I didn't exactly know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are. They are decent aesthetically so, I don't feel as if I am wearing something which screams 'I'm functional, okay?!' They were fantastic..at first... until something happened and I'm still not exactly certain what I did... I guess I went to kneel down while working and kept my toes bent on one foot in order to stand right back up after doing whatever quick task I'd been doing. Yet In those brief few seconds, I guess I dislodged the box somehow from the rest of the shoe? I doubt I could actually have bent it but, bottom line is that that shoe now hurts me to wear. No matter what I tried to do to fix the issue, I can't seem to fix it. So it digs into my toes enough to the point that I know any length of time with them on would be a toe-tal regret later. Luckily, Amazon refunded my cost since they seem to be faulty but I will probably just reorder the same pair in hopes I just had a fluke.I will say the slip resistance could be a bit better, especially out of the box. At first they are quite slick! The fabric seemed to hold up well but, I didn't use them very long before this issue occured.One note that may be valuable to some, there is reflective material on the back of the shoe (someone had noticed mine while I was wearing them and expressed how he couldn't find any with the rear reflective material on the pull loop, as his occupation required similar.) In case someone is looking for that info..I would have given it more stars if they had lasted even a bit longer than they had.. I would still recommend them.I will repurchase and will update this review once I have the second pair for awhile to get a good perspective on durability.**Update**After reviewing these, the company actually reached out to me personally via email and expressed their apologies that the pair I had gotten ended up faulty. They offered to send me a replacement pair at no cost (and the shipping was extremely quick!) I have worn the new pair and again, these are a surpringly comfortable pair of protective toe shoes. I havent had any issues with the new pair sent to me at all. Having this as the resolution to my purchase, I have decided to change my rating from 3 to 5 stars, as the company showed not only accommodation in wanting to replace my faulty pair, but took the initiative to reach out to me in order to offer the replacement! Fantastic customer care shown by this company and this is definitely worth the change in rating all the way around. They will back their products and truly care about the customer satisfaction. I like these lightweight shoes, they are stylish and not bulky whatsoever. Put some levi ankle cut black socks on and you are ready to go. I wont take these to work as I primarily got them as my walking shoes for going out. It's hard to find pure black sneakers. They are comfortable enough for sure, my only concern for long term would be the sole of the shoe itself. This companies other version of this shoe has way better treads on the bottom, something I would like seen in this one as well, but for the low cost, I cant ultimately knock it.

Stylish shoe that is very comfortable. The construction of it looks like it may last max 6 months but here is to hoping it lasts at least a year. Great price also and very lightweight.

Overall a great shoe. Used daily and after a year they are still holding up. The sole has worn down of course and I’m ready to order another pair.

The shoes are comfortable but not strong material.the bubble at the bottom popped and my foot goes side way off the soul’s.im a mover and going up and down stairs and my foot goes side ways almost causing me to twist my ankle.very expensive for cheap materials.very disappointing

Very comfortable and stylish! Most people didn’t even know they are steel toe. Worn for about a month now and have held up nicely in a warehouse. Worth the buy!
