pretty good quality
My utility box cover broke off in the recent storm. Firstly I tried to just replace the pins holding it on but no joy there so bought the whole door. The quality is good and it fits well onto the box but the retractable spring pin on the hinge kept refusing to pull out ( the spring got stuck ) and it took several attempts -until I simply gripped it with a pliers and it popped out. Now the cover/door was on but the lock will not work ,there is not enough of a gap for it to grip on the box. I'm sure that someone more handy would solve this problem but I have little patience left. So tape is keeping it closed.

Item Finish Could be Better
The surface finish on this item was disappointing in that it was purchased to replace a locally 'pock-marked' and lightly scratched door on a new build property and unfortunately displays similar problems. I now suspect that the original door was as supplied to the builder and not damaged during installation as I at first thought.I have filled the admittedly small indentations with plastic resin-type filler and having lightly sanded the whole outer surface of the door with fine ‘wet & dry’ sandpaper, I have painted it with all-surface paint/primer on the basis that I suspect that most if not all the doors supplied by probably most if not all manufacturers will have a number of imperfections - I have seen similar issues reported elsewhere. I will now have to paint the frame outside as well as the door to ensure a match. The manufacturers of utility cupboards and doors need to pay attention to product surface finish as although these items are probably considered less than important, they should in my view be constructed, stored and packaged in such a way as to maintain a high quality of finish as they are often prominent features on houses - unfortunately.

Fits perfectly
I was initially wary of purchasing this product, as some reviews had concerns about the hinges and the lock. Mine however, fitted perfectly! The trick is to push the lower hinge into place first, followed by the upper spring-loaded hinge. Then as you swing the door shut, you may need to gently push the door a little further inwards while turning the lock to the right. For me at least, the result was a snug-fitting, smart-looking unit. Unexpectedly, it also came with one of those metal key tools, which was a nice touch. Good product.
