This is easy to turn on, and you can even do so with it still in it's heat sealed bag, which even has adhesive foam on it. You just hold the on button down through the plastic for 5 seconds and you get a confirmation light that flashes periodically to let you know it is working It's compact, too. But I won't know if it works, or specifically if it works in the temps it will be subjected to in a hot car until 200 days from now - it is single use.I feel like I should have bought one to try out and read in just a day even though that would be wasteful to be sure I know how to get these working properly before running a 200 day test.

these little recording devices are great, they could be used for multiple purposes, but especially for tracking inventory that needs to be kept at certain temperatures/humidity.very accurate recording, and they have a very long lifespan. They are very easy to use, and very easy to access the files that it has stored over its travels. Definitely worth the price to ensure your products are handled correctly. Great little trackers, great price, highly recommended.

Compact, accurate, good lifespan:This product is very compact and easy to fit into a bunch of different container types without taking up too much space. The thin design of the product in particular makes it easy to slide into place, and the devices are decently durable and can withstand environments of varying temperature ranges without incurring damage. The product has been pretty accurate and is a very valuable tool when transporting materials that need to stay within a a certain temperature range (food in our case). The data output is simple to comb through and provides a very good picture of the temp fluctuations. The 200 day range is pretty good just be aware these are one and done, so you can't reuse them after use.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.
