New Archery Recurve Take Down Bow stringer Limb-Tip Leather BSP-1 Real Leather

Works a treat for me, I'm new to artery and had no idea how to string my take-down recurve bow. I had to watch YouTube to work out how to use it but nice and simple now I know how.

Got here well on time and it do the job well and much safer then doing it by hand.ye it's a good thing well worth the money

To be honest I could not string my 38lb draw weight double recurved tournament bow at all using this bowstringer. I found it easier to do it the old fashioned freehand way. I bought my elderly bow new 20 years ago and after a five year layoff I was concerned that it might have stiffened and I did not want to shatter it. I bought a bowstringer because they are said to be kinder to the bow limbs and I have watched people using these devices. This one seems very well made, strong and as good as any other. It was promptly delivered but I was disappointed that for me it was not useful. The amount of vertical effort involved was more than I could manage now that I am in my dotage and perhaps have only 25% of my earlier strength. Someone who is used to using such a device would probably give it a much higher score. Perhaps the attempts to use this stringer did soften the bow a little because I can now string it fairly easily by hand. I am pleased to say that age and infirmity have not affected my use of the bow as much as my ability to string it.

Item arrived as described. Worked very well for my 40lbs recurve bow, with no problems at all in stringing it with this tool.
