I've ordered these pants several times over the last year. They shrink a bit over a few dozen wear/wash/dry cycles but it's not excessive. They hold up well with the seams and pockets. They fit a bit loose to be "slim fit" but it's fine. They're khakis. They work just fine as khakis. Crew Essential Chinos. But these are far more affordable.Many companies make pants quite similar to J. Crew Essential Chinos (notably Express and Banana Republic), but J. Crew and Amazon are notable for making MY SIZE, which is rather small in the waist and long in the leg. Usually the longer legs (33 or 34 inch inseam) are only available on a waist of at least 34 inches. Levi's also makes pants in my size, but they are either jeans or corduroys, and the construction is different in many respects.The fabric on these Amazon pants is relatively thin, this is likely a cost-saving measure, it might be nice in the summer, it is not so nice in the winter. The much lower price is worth it.The pockets are good, they are rather deep. I've certainly had pants with shallower pockets, and things fall out. I like that the pockets have a nearly-vertical opening. They are slant pockets, but they are quite close to on-seam pockets, which are my favorite.The fabric is non-stretch, I don't know why that was a category on this rating.The fit is not especially slim, and the seat is rather roomy for "slim-fit" pants. The leg is slimmer than average, with a slight taper.These pants are probably what you are expecting.
