please dont buy this as its rubbish.
The taste is so bad that i had to throw all the food I had added to it. The smell in the house was so bad every one felt sick. Dont know how any one can use this as it has no holly basil in it.

Item okay but double the price, long wait for delivery.
Got this as it was out of stock for a while at the local mart. It's double the price here. Product itself is better than most, slightly salty (add tomatoes or sugar to balance) but a bit more basil needed in the paste. Spicy enough but probably less bite for Asian pallette. But shipping takes a while. Didn't realised it would take almost three weeks to arrive, and it is posted out by normal mail by the seller (not the manufacturer) with double handling by Thai Post and then by SingPost. Thought it would be via Amazon being a grocery item. I'd like to support SMEs but at double the price and long shipping time I'm not so sure.

UNEXPECTEDLY SPICY
I was really expecting paste to be focused on the basil and herbs, but there is so much chili paste and seeds that the herbs are kind of lost. It is VERY spicy. I had already added red Thai chili paste to the curry I was making and unfortunately couldn’t add the whole packet without making it too spicy. It does taste good so 4 stars and I will use the other packets but I don’t think I will buy this again. I would rather use a paste made primarily of the herbs and have better control over the amount of heat.
